Ramada Asheville Southwest

We were most impressed with the staff, their efficiency, and their friendliness and helpfulness. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day; the towels and bedding were of high quality and always clean. It was easy to access the wi-fi service. The atrium was exceptionally spacious and well-furnished. The location of the hotel allowed us to access and attend all the activities we had planned. Thanks for a great stay at an affordable price!

It was a good price for the money. Needs to change that breakfast is no longer available in the package.That was the selling point for us to book. But overall the price was right.

I didn't like the fact that the sales representative booked me in an outside room. Fortunately the hotel had some indoor rooms available and I was much happier with that room. We were moved from our first room because we had a gigantic cockroach (this was a big buzzard) in our room. The room where we moved did not have a microwave and fridge which was a bummer. The beds were not very comfy and we checked into a room with double beds and a sleeper sofa but we only had enough washcloths for 2 people. The room was clean enough and close to restaurants. The hotel had continental breakfast on Sunday but not on Monday. The hotel was close to the interstate so it made for easy traveling. This was an older hotel and if I was in a pinch I would stay here again, but could get much better accommodations for a few extra bucks.

I went with a couple of guys for a weekend getaway in Asheville. I had stayed at this hotel before. It's a straightshot to/from downtown and right off of 40. BTW, on Garmin for some reason it's listed as "Ramada Baltimore West". The room stayed clean, linens stocked, quick check-in and check-out. I appreciate better hotels, but I don't travel to spend a lot of time in them. This was great for a place to crash after a long day out at half the price of other hotels in the area.

Good for the price. It's also close to the Biltmore, NC Arboretum, & Downtown. Restaurants are within walking distance. Ihop is connected to the hotel & Ramada will give you a coupon upon request. Overall, enjoyed my stay with my husband.

Hotel was kind of dirty, there were a few bugs in the room. Door had large gaps in it that you could see through and bathroom ceiling was falling apart. I am cheap so I didn't expect the best, but it was pretty dirty. The common area in the lobby was nice and the pool looked clean.

If I could give this hotel a negative rating, I would. We had a horrible experience with them. I made a reservation a couple of months before for a King 2-room suite. When we arrived to check in we were charged for the "suite" but on entering the room, it was only a regular (in poor condition too) king bed room. We went back to the desk to explain the problem. The desk clerk was EXTREMELY rude to us. The first words out of her mouth were "Well, it's not my fault!" Then she proceeded to tell us that no such room existed so the manager had given us that room instead. NOT COOL. We were being charged for something that apparently didn't even exist. It was a holiday weekend so finding another hotel was almost impossible. We did manage to find something else but it was twice the cost. The clerk didn't even apologize or attempt to fix the problem in any way. My hasband called the Ramada 800 # to complain but hasn't heard anything back whatsoever. We will definitely think twice before booking with Ramada.

Very disappointed in the accomodations and left without staying. They kept a nights fee and would not return all we paid on credit card.

We loved it. For the cost, you just can't beat it. Only four miles from Biltmore and we were able to take our two dogs. I'd recommend it. Not the fanciest or most current, but definitely worth the price.

Front desk was friendly. Door cards worked sometimes. No hair dryer in the room. Barking dog next door. Beds were too small. Had to ask for extra wash cloths.
