Below Average
The property is old and very outdated. I had read that they had made some renovations but could not see any. Checking in the girl at the front was cordial but needed some polishing herself. Her boyfriend or husband was hanging around with a dog on a leash and they seemed to always be outside smoking. When I came in from dinner a guy was at the front desk and would not have acknowledge me coming if I had not spoken to him. He was too preoccupied on his phone or computer to offer any customer service. He needed work also.

Great for the $$
The hotel was average, a little creepy at times. The breakfast was great! Room was clean and well maintained. There were some renovations occurring during out stay, so property was a bit messy. Overall, a great value and a great location; close to Asheville Mall and Tunnel Road. Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway as well!

Birthday Weekend
This hotel was a great location if you are looking to get on the Blue Ridge Pkwy and go hiking or just for a drive, also minutes from Downtown Asheville. Hotel and room itself were clean, could use a little sprucing up, a bit outdated. We traveled with our two dogs and definiely would go back just for the pet friendliness. There were lots of dogs on our hall; Tons of grass to walk dogs and then we even found the dog fenced in area. Parking was never a problem. Continental breakfast was nice for being complimentary but maybe a few more healthy items (yogurt, wheat breads, reduced fat condiments) could be added to the bar. Overall a great

we didn't really care too much about luxury etc. just need a roof, coz we were riding to the Dragon the next day. a bit expensive, but it worked out just fine. not a place if you're going to stay at for too long though.

Okay for the price
This hotel was okay for the price. But it was not as clean as we expect in a Ramada. The staff was very friendly. But for what we needed in such a short time to find it was fine.
