W/end visit

Location is fine, hotel is up a steep hill off US 25... can be a wait getting across 25 from hotel to go south - away from Biltmore Village. Room was good size and clean in an older hotel with fixtures to match. Need both a steel housekey for hall & plastic room key; light switch in bathroom also turned off electric outlet so watch out for that if a tootbrush or razor needs a charge; A/C perhaps noisier than most Holiday Inns - but not extraordinarily so. Hey, it s a $60/hotel... needed a place to sleep when visiting - may stay there again next trip.

Just enough for the price

It was a cheap hotel. It felt like a cheap hotel. They gave me an extra key to open the entrance to the hotel building. It was annoying because I had an extra key (in addition to the room key) to take care of.

Good Hotel room for a good price

I showed up into town late, found the hotel on my phone. I was pleasantly suprised at the room size for the price paid. I had a room in the back, where I was able to see my car from the walk out balcony in the well lit parking lot. The hotel is near a residental neighborhood where apparently there are quite a few stray cats.

Good base for exploring Asheville

The rooms are a bit old, but considering the price this hotel turned out to be a great value. I had a room with a second floor balcony, a refrigerator, free wifi and HBO. More than comfortable. You're in Biitmore Village, a bit touristy but Interesting. A block away is Biltmore Estate, a must-do experience. A fantastic restaurant " Corner Kitchen" is within walking distance but be prepared for waits, it's a local favorite. You're a short drive to downtown Asheville. Staff was accomodating, the breakfast so-so but overall, if you don't need luxury, this is a good option.

"Just the basics"

If you're in Asheville for anything other than a dedicated vacation (business, wedding, graduation) and just need a place to change, shower and shave, this is your hotel (in other words, not spending much time in the room/on the property). Great does not begin to describe the location with relation to Biltmore Village/Biltmore Estate and downtown so the price is well worth it. If you're looking for more of an 'experience' stick with something pricier. Clean room, clean linens, clean bathroom, friendly staff.
