great trip

Our hotel was outstanding. From the staff to the super clean room, everything was great. The room was a spacious, wonderful corner room with a beautiful view of the Mountains. The bathroom shower was great. We like clean and this was very clean. Will come again and again.

Fantastic hotel with a wonderful staff

This hotel was fantastic. Clean, elegant, modern and beautiful. I couldn't recommend this place more. The entire staff was friendly and helpful with everything from ideas on where to eat to making a smoothie (that wasn't on any menu) for our 19 month old daughter.

For breakfast you need to eat at the Tupelo Honey Cafe, lunch try the Mellow Mushroom and dinner should be Carmels. All three places are a short and pleasant walk from the hotel.

Great Location, Amazing Staff.

The hotel was great. Fantastic staff. We made some complicated reservation errors, and they handled it with ease. Bartender is great and charasmatic. The food was suprisingly good. The room was a little smaller than we expected, but it was adorable. I would go back.

Good not great!

We had stayed at this hotel previously and really enjoyed the hotel. Unfortunately this time I found the rooms to be not as clean as last time. We love that the rooms are not carpeted as it seems cleaner to us however the rugs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time and also had a noticeable stain on it. I'm not sure why but the second night we had a down comforter on the bed but it no longer was inside a duvet cover - instead it was just between two sheets. Also we were on the side of the hotel that was practically on the highway and was quite loud in the morning with buzzing traffic. The lobby is great with computers and lounging area as well as a good cafe/bar. [...]at the front desk was wonderful. She was more then helpful and always smiling. The location is a little strange since it is on the highway but you can walk to things. In short I would say it is good hotel but not great. We got a good deal on the hotel since it was the offseason but any other time I would stay at the Renaissance or Haywood. Both are Less expensive and have a better location.

Best choice in asheville

We have been to Asheville many times and this was our first stay at hotel Indigo. [...] The best part about this hotel is the location. Right in downtown within walking distance from everything. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice bar area that was packed with locals on saturday night. Staff was friendly. We will stay here from now on!

Hotel Indigo - Asheville January in the

Reception was painless and friendly. Housekeeping a slow in getting to the room; perhaps understaffed due to the bad weather? Snowfall dominated the roads yet Maintenance kept the sloping sidewalks and drive sanded and generally clear. The small dining and bar was attractive and pleasantly staffed. Problem with the room layout: Where do I plug in my laptop and cell charger? The sole unused electrical outlet is in a corner behind the far bed. Guess we're to put the computer and phone on that bed? Pay per view movies were unavailable yet would have been nice since the weather kept us inside more than expected.
