basic hotel
Staff was very helpful. Amenities in lobby/breakfast area were nice. My room was a little outdated and not extremely clean. Some noise from adjacent rooms, and the garbage truck woke me up before 7am. Very close to mall; few miles from downtown. Good value.

We stayed only one night in Asheville.the room we had could use a little up dating. The bathroom was in rough shape, but clean. The mini fridge was quite annoying it would not shut off and kept running even when in the off position. We couldn"t move it to unplug it.The breakfast buffet was great.Nice way to start the day,not having to look for a place to have breakfast

Great place to visit
Went to the Biltmore. Saw a fantastic home built for his wife and left it for generations of family to make a living running it. Could have spent more time in the city.

Needs updating !
Had the best hot breakfast of any Motel we stayed in all week ! Great food but the Motel itself is just old and in need of updating !! No real problems to report except my wife had to ask for bath towels both nights we stayed there . Large Spider in shower curtain had to be killed the second day we were there. Could have just been the time of the year (autumn). Staff was very friendly and helpful and the Motel was as good as it could be considering it's age. Location was great ! Easy to get anywhere you needed to be in Asheville from the location !! Overall stay was acceptable and decent value for the money spent.

Not worth the $, this is a 2 * hotel
My husband and I booked this for a night and were expecting a 3 * experience, it was NOT. Our room had cigaret burn holes in sheets that did not fit the bed, the bathroom ceiling was peeling, everything was rusty, and the floor was not carpeted and cold. The shower was quite possibly one of the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel and all the towels were ragged. Please don't be deceived by the price or the free breakfast, you are probably better to book a 2 * and save the money. I would not stay at this location again and would definitely not recommend it to friends or family.

Biltmore stay
For a weekend getaway this served the purpose since we hardly spent time in the room. It was close to the mall and your normal chain restaurants nothing to fancy. just a hotel in Asheville, NC.

Not Recommended Location
We reserved a non-smoking room, but were given a smoking room. One of the pillows had dirt on it and the door to the bathroom did not close. This is definitely not a 21/2 star location.
