Comfort Inn West

We arrived at our hotel at around 3:30 p.m. The man behind the counter was on the phone with a customer apparently discussing free rates/nights, etc. Well, I stood there at least 10 minutes before being acknowledged. When we got to our room, the remote control did not work and my boyfriend called the front desk. They were to send someone up to check it out, but it took so long, my boyfriend went down and got someone! As far as the room itself, it was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and included yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, etc. As far as location, it was only a few miles from Biltmore Estate and there were several places to eat close by. Overall, the stay was fine!

Frendley service, mice handycap room dog frendly forour two Westies.. Enjoyed our stay. Dining area was small so we ate in our room. overall a good place to stay.

The front desk staff was superb, particularly the night person! When the printer next to the PC for the guests did not work the night staff person offered to let me use the one behind the counter. She was pleasant and very helpful to everyone including people who did not have a reservation.

The staff and accomadations were the best we experienced on a 12 day road trip. During our stay my wife felt ill. The staff was able to recommend a clinic that they were familiar with and we were able to get quick attention. COMMENDATIONS TO THE STAFF!

The staff was friendly at check. Good restaurants in close proxcimity and room was clean and neat.

The room was a fair room. Nothing terrible nothing great. CHeck In was extremely wierd....they asked for my credit card and then they said no....it went back and forth...finally they took it. At about 11:30 pm after a 3:30 pm check in....they called and said my credit card was declined. It was not my credit card that was declined. I told them the creedit card number they refernced was not mine. I checked my back and the hotel bill had already cleared earlier. At about 5:00 am...the alarm clock went off in the other room next store. It buzzed and buzzed extremely loudly for about 30 minutes. I called the front desk and they said no one was in those rooms. I said well the alarm was going off and would not stop. He said I was wrong. About 15 minutes later I called again...finally someone that works in the hotel walked down and opened the empty room. Indeed the alarm was going off at the loudest possible level.
