Good and Bad
Traveling alone to visit with Family and Friends for the weekend. Pro's : GREAT Location only 5-10 mins away from anything in Asheville. Easy I-40 access on and off. Lots of Restaurants nearby. Bed was very comfy, room was clean. Free WiFi is always nice. Con's :King size room was SMALL. Bathroom was merely closet size with a shower. Sink was outside of bathroom. Hotel walls EXTREMLY thin. I could hear the person next door passing gas, belching , on the phone with his family and of course the television. 2nd night there was a repeat but had what sounded like a day care on the other side of the wall on opposite side. No rest at all. Hotel pool is really really chlorinated. To the point it burns your eyes just being in there. Hotel staff not the friendliest but they serve the purpose. I would stay here again, but be sure to get a corner room

Great experience
After checking Grove Park Inn and Biltmore Inn, we decided we would rather spend our $$ on food and amenities. I always notice if a room has a strong disinfectant smell when I walk in...like they are hiding something. This room was very clean and fresh. One thing I can report is that we left some items in the room and called two days later to see if they were there and they were in the safe and the hotel staff is mailing them to us. We have left things in rooms before an never were able to recover. Very honest people!!! As in other reviews, the breakfast area is small, but only crowded at 8am when most people want to get in...if they slept in and want to make the 9:30 cut off. But very good...

It's OK
There's nothing bad about this hotel, it's close to restaurants like Texas Roadhouse, TGI Fridays, and it's even right next to a gas station. To top it all off, it's a short drive from the Biltmore Estate. I highly recommend it.

Good for the Price
This hotel was in a great location for visiting the Biltmore Estate. It has an indoor pool and jacuzzi, which we were looking for. It also had a waffle maker, which made the typical hotel breakfast a little better. The room was clean, but the staff could have been friendlier. They also wouldn't help us get our reward points through out account because we booked through another website, which was annoying. Overall, this was a good hotel for the money and a short stay.

Check out the Honey Tupelo Cafe for lunch downtown. They use local vendors and the food was excellent (coming from a nutritionist who is hard to impress).

Overnight at Biltmore
We stayed here on an overnight trip to Ashevile. The location is excellent. The front desk gave us a perfect dinner recommendation for casual family dining that was less than a mile away. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was the typical spread. Happy they had LCDs in the rooms. There were no surprises and we enjoyed our stay here, so it was exactly what I expected from the photos. We'd stay again and recommend it.

Short drive from hotel
The Apollo Flame Bistro less than a mile away was an incredible value. For $8 you get a full-sized entree, a heaping helping of salad, and bread. They had the entrees on our table before we could finish the salad. Good Mediterranean menu.

Baymont Asheville, NC 10/28-11/2/2011
Recently stayed for a weekend at this location, and was extremely satisfied with this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel very clean. The rooms are nice and updated, very clean and very confortable beds. Awesome water pressure in the shower, and the hotel really did not leave much to be desired. The free breakfast was pretty decent for what it was also. Nice location just south of downtown, less than 5 minutes to really anything you want in downtown Asheville and right next to Biltmore Village, I-40, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Good location, slow elevators
The hotel was clean, the location was good, and the staff was helpful. Breakfast on Sunday morning was crowded and the seating was inadequate. The elevator service was also very slow (I was on the 5th floor) so opt for a room that allows you to take the stairs. The room itself was nice and quiet when the hotel was full.
