Ruby's Inn Missoula

We wanted a room without spending alot, yet with a breakfast. The motel is older, but clean and well managed. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at a Motel. The staff was very helpful and waited on us to make sure we had what we needed. Would stay there again, close to shopping etc.

Cons: bed is a little on the firm side, no fridge or microwave in the room Pros: clean room, convenient location, extremely friendly staff (goes that extra mile to make you feel welcome), fantastic continental breakfast with biscuits and gravy and sausage and lots more choices, pet friendly, close to a lot of shopping, the freeway, and great places to eat, many updates in the older building (like flat screen tv's, free wi-fi, hair dryer, ironing board), quiet, nice lobby and continental breakfast area, family oriented, parking for larger vehicles or trailers, hot showers with good water pressure, and did I mention the friendly staff! All in all, we will definitely stay here again. The owner is a nice older lady that was there for breakfast with her husband. Still actively checking on her quests, it was apparent to me that her first concern was the customer, and providing value with a smile. Having stayed at many hotels, this was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time.

Hotel is in a convenient location, with access to the interstate, restaurants, and shopping. Friendly staff, free WiFi, a nice complimentary hot breakfast, and a small business center that was perfect for printing out our boarding passes. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that may turn someone off is that the doors are outside, more motel than hotel.

Nice motel with clean room and great breakfast. Close to the interstate.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but our room (f2k) had been refurbed, was very large, had a nice view of the creek, and even had two sinks. Pool was being cleaned in the morning as we were checking out (always reassuring), breakfast was very good and breakfast staff was friendly. Give it a chance. Lots of bang for the buck.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I liked the free popcorn in the evening and the free breakfast in the morning. There was plenty of hot water for bathing or a shower. I liked sitting next to the stream behind the hotel. I was grateful that I was able to park my Corvette right in front of my room on the ground floor. I will stay here again. It would be nice if they had a small refrigerator in each room though.

Hotel is fairly old but well maintain. Carpet is old and heavy use which make the room smell a little when you just walk in. Rest room are clean. Bed sheet and pillow are clean and comfortable. If you sleep late into the morning, you may have trouble with all the noise that service maids create when they pull their cart on the rough pavement in front of your room. All in all, if you need a clean place to stay overnight for the budget then this is a good choice. Nothing fancy, nothing extraordinary.

Shopping in Montana.

I spent my days by the pool and in the whirlpool. When I would get too hot, I would go sit by the beautiful cold mountain stream that ran right behind our room.

Would not stay there again. Had friends who made their reservations at the same time, they recieved a suite for the same price as ours. You could here every thing from the rooms on both sides of us.
