Feels like Home

Every time I visit Missoula to see my son who is a student there, I stay at the Doubletree. I love the restaurant, although it is too expensive for me to have more than one meal there! It would be nice if guests received a discount. The room is clean and I enjoy the fitness room as well. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I have another stay coming up in May and I am looking forward to it.

Overnight stay

The room was very spacious. The jacuzzi tub took a long time to fill and the water kind of sprayed when filling. The shower had amazing water pressure. It was a little bit of an older place but the bedding was great and very comfortable.

A bit less than you expect

Seems to be underachieving as a hotel with a great location.

Weekend Getaway

I was super disappointed with our stay at the Doubletree. I have stayed there several years ago and was very pleased, but this time I felt like we were staying at a cheap dirty hotel. We had dirty glasses in our room that had been used for wine. We asked housekeeping to change our bedding and they were very rude. Then they came and just made it without changing the bedding. We asked for plates and they said they had no access, yet they were out for breakfast the next morning. Staff was not helpful and pretty rude most of the time. We will not be choosing this hotel again.

Scotty's Table is a true gem in Missoula! Some of the most incredible food I have ever eaten.

Enjoyed our short stay

Front desk staff were very pleasant, treating us like old friends. The room has nice furniture and comfy king bed. The only sign of the hotel's age was in the shower; some sections of tile should be replaced. But this was just aesthetic and not a functional issue. My husband and I only stayed one night for a local event and didn't eat in the restaurant. However, it is popular locally and we enjoyed the outdoor patio a few months ago during football season. A special rate made this stay well worth it for us. Due to the hotel's proximity to the University and riverside location, usually the rate is higher than we like to pay for a place to sleep, so this was a nice treat. The special rate made it comparable to a local budget hotel where we sometimes stay.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

In addition to the walking/biking path along the river, the hotel is also very close to Greenough Park, a forested gem surrounded by pleasant neighborhoods. It's north of the hotel a walkable distance away, but due to busy intersections near the hotel I'd recommend driving. Ask hotel staff for directions.

Missoula Visit

Good location. Hotel is on the older side and could sure use some updating. Rooms are comfortable but nothing at all special. Will probably stay at another hotel on our next trip to Missoula.

Very Nice Hotel

My room was right on the water so it was absolutely beautiful--great all the way around--the restaurant is a bit pricey but great food. Would definitely stay there again!

Weary traveler's haven

It's a long way from San Diego and this hotel offered a relaxing pause in the driving. Right on the river with a fantastic restaurant, this hotel provides everything you need: refrigerator, coffee pot, quality linen on the beds. Friendly staff. Sit on your balcony and enjoy the action on the river!
