Motel 6 Miles City MT

We attended a conference in Miles City. If there had been any other room available in town we would have moved. There was blood or some substance of that nature that flaked off of the inside of the bedspread. When we went to move to the other bed we turned down the sheets and there was hair on the pillows. So we stripped off the blanket and bedspread off the first bed and slept with the heat cranked up to stay warm. The next morning we went to the lobby and told them the problem. They were going to have the beds completely stripped and our room cleaned. When we came back late that night, the same bedding was put back on the bed, and the bed where we had turned it down and left it because of the hair hadn't even been touched! The hairy pillows were sitting out for anyone to see.

Good staff and freindly clean and well worth the money.

The Motel 6 at Miles City, MT. was comfortable but not very pleasant. It is located next to an off ramp on the interstate 90 hwy. so the trucks coming into the city from the hwy. are downshifting with their jake brakes going and was a constant irritation to us as we tried to sleep. Also the parking lot is full of giant holes in the asphalt, apparently the owner is not going to fix them because it was the same last year when we stayed there. Our room was supposed to be smoke free, but it stank like smoke this time, last time, one week earlier, it didn't. The shower had a plastic bag holding the handicap seat up out of the way. Pretty tacky. They are swapping out the toilets and shower stalls for new ones though, so at least they are doing some upgrades. It is close to a restaurant (4B's) so that was handy. And also close to the hwy. and gas stations.
