Great Stay
The room was comfortable, and had a nice view of the courtyard. The breakfast was good, and the freshly cooked omelets were a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I didn't care for was the AC in the room was cranked all the way up and the room was freezing cold when I walked in, but it was an easy enough fix.

Great place to stay for Black Friday
We were very happy with our stay. We stayed at the Red Lion for Black Friday shopping and it was perfect as it is right at the end of the shopping center and we didn't have to go outside in the cold. The room was large with a kitchenette and computer desk. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. We will be back next year.

Close to shopping, dinning and entertainment. Hotel staff were knowledgeable about finer dinning options and the locals recommended quick day trips in the area

Nice Stay
We spent a few day at Glacier National Park for a convention. The Red lion was just a stop overBut it was clean and quiet.

Airport shuttle issues
The location next to a very walkable downtown, and interior doors were important reasons I chose this hotel. All we needed was a safe, clean place for a single night stay before an early flight out from the Kalispell airport. The front desk service and check in were easy and friendly. Due to the free shuttle service to the airport, I decided to return my rental car to the airport a day early, and the front desk clerk made reservations for the 3 of us to take the 4:30 am shuttle the next morning. The shuttle driver personally met me at the car rental desk to take me back to the hotel--he couldn't have been nicer, or more pleasant. The rooms were clean and pleasant. It was great to be able to walk across the street and stroll through downtown Kalispell that afternoon. The problem arose the next morning when we showed up at 4:25 to catch the 4:30 shuttle. The front desk clerk mumbled something about the shuttle being outside and to go there to get it. So we went outside, and there was an empty shuttle van, unlocked, that we put our luggage in and waited...and waited....and waited. 10 minutes later (now 4:35 am) I went back inside and asked where the driver was. The front desk clerk shuffled papers, refused to look at me, and said he would call the driver. Long story short: the driver of the 4:30 shuttle left at 4:20, because he thought he had everyone he was supposed to have. The desk clerk had not bothered to tell me that. The 5 am shuttle had one seat, which I took so that I could get our boarding passes, and left my daughters to get the 5:15. The 5:00 and 5:15 am shuttle drivers were extremely nice and helpful. We made our flights, but by the skin of our teeth. I am not sure who made the mistake in the hotel, but it changed what would have been a good solid review to a near disaster.

North Bay Grille was great restaurant within a couple of blocks. A little pricey, but great food and service.

central location
the hotel is in need of an update. The buffet breakfast was very good, and the staff seemed very friendly and enjoyed working there.
