Convenient to restaurants and shopping
The check-in was friendly. The staff were friendly about helping with directions to restauarants and shopping. The hotel is directly beside the main road to other close towns and attractions. We were pleased with our stay. The only problem we experienced was finding this hotel from the airport, because it is not close to the airport. [...]

Nice Place - but close to train
Nice clean, large rooms with nice plasma TV's. The only issue I had was the trains that blew their horns when passing up through about midnight or 1am

Bad Experience
We've stayed at many hotels but it's our first time at a Springhill Suites. The room we got was long but configured so that the sleeping area with 2 beds felt cramped. The first day we forgot to take off the Do Not Disturb sign. I called at 3pm and was told that they didn't have cleaning staff after 2:30pm. I don't know if this is normal for hotels, but decided it was my fault. The next day I made sure I took down the Do Not Disturb sign. When we returned that evening, the room was marginally cleaned. Dry towels were thrown on the shelf, a dirty glass was not replaced, and the bed looked as though someone made it hastily, then laid on top of it and had a nap. I had to ask the Front Desk for toilet paper. We usually stay at a different hotel when visiting family in Billings and decided to try this hotel because of a special offer - 3rd night free. I talked with 2 different Front Desk people on 2 different shifts and neither knew anything about it nor how to get the credit applied. I gave them a copy of the promotion to provide to the manager, then left him a voicemail and an email the same day I checked out. It's been over a week and he has not responded. My credit card statement is showing full charges for 3 nights. I have been on and off hold with [...] Customer Support for the last hour while the Representative has been on another line talking to that same manager, who seems to be trying to get out of honoring the offer. The [...] Rep finally ended the call with him without agreement, and she is now escalating the issue and will get back to me.

As Comfortable as high price hotels
The Springhill Suites in Billings, MT was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone. I had stayed in a very high end hotel the week before and the bedding and mattress were just as comfortable. I loved the dimmer switch to lower the lights while watching TV at night. The room was clean, staff was friendly and food was good. It was nice having a choice of iced tea, coffee and lemonade all day long as well.

The Texas Roadhouse is next door with a great variety. There are many other restaurants within two blocks of the hotel.

Pretty Good
This hotel has fantastic beds! That is why we go back, however, this past stay, it was quite loud. The hotel is near train tracks, and it seemed like the train was going by all night long. Other than that though, we love this hotel, and will probably go back.
