Under renovation
At first we were worried that the room would be noisy due to renovation and construction equipement near our room, it was quiet after 5 PM. Room needs updating, heating cooling old style and room was too cold when we entered. It was 80 outside and 50 inside what a waste of energy! Lobby is shabby, fountain was turned off. not inviting. We needed wifi/business access and it was an open corner in the lobby, no privacy or quiet.

HOTEL WAS OK
THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY BUT.....THEY REALLY HAVE SOME ISSUES: 1) WI-FI DOES NOT WORK 2) DON'T EAT IN THE RESTAURANT - YUCK 3) BATHROOMS REALLY SMALL (AND OUR BATHROOM DOOR KEPT GETTING STUCK, I HAD TO LET THE KIDS OUT ALMOST EVERYTIME THEY WENT) 4) I ASKED THAT THEY ARRANGE FOR ALL OF MY FAMILY (6 ROOMS) STAY AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE - NONE OF US WERE EVEN ON THE SAME FLOOR! THE GOOD THINGS: 1) THEY HAD A NICE POOL 2) THE LOBBY WAS HUGE AND OUR KIDS COULD ALL PLAY GAMES TOGETHER IN IT THE ROOM WAS AVERAGE, BUT CLEANED NICELY EVER DAY. I WOULD PICK A DIFFERENT HOTEL NEXT TIME....OVERALL IT JUST SEEMED RUN DOWN AND OLD.

Two nights out of three aint too bad.
We were in Billings to tour Rocky Mountain College. Their apparently was a wrestling tournament in town that same weekend. Our room was placed right in the middle of all the teams and the last night especially, was noisy as heck. You think in a place as big as this that they could have a wing seperate just for business travelers and such. The rooms were clean but that noise was a killer( the schools that brought their students there should have been more responsible and kept their students toned down.)

Nice Hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. Very nice ammenties for the price. The pool was nice, although maybe a little small. The rooms were very nice and clean. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasurable.

Holiday Inn Experience
There were a variety of restaurants close by and it was right off the highway. The bathroom was pretty small and they said they had a dvd player in the room and that was not the case. They also said they had a full restaurant but the casino was so smokey we could not eat there. I probably would not go there again for the price.

Hotel stay
Stay was very enjoyable, however, the air conditioner did not work properly, room stayed entirely too warm despite having the thermostat set @ 68. Your staff were very friendly and I would definately stay at your hotel again

My review of Holiday Inn THE GRAND MONTANA-BILLINGS
The Holiday Inn experience was very comfortable and even included a recliner to sit in while you watched TV. The hotel had experienced a power outage prior to arrival so our room key didn't work in the entrance door to our hotel wing; but they were very attentive and got it fixed as soon as reported. The only other problem we had was that someone (and I'm sure it wasn't a hotel employee) had set the clock radio alarm to come on at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and then again at 12:30 a.m. so we had our sleep interrupted. But the room was very spacious and clean.

I was very disappointed with the Holiday Inn THE GRAND MONTANA-BILLINGS hotel. The lobby was impressive with a 3 story waterfall, the rooms were clean and the beds were pretty comfortable, but everything else was sub-par. The restaraunt was a little pricey and the food was just ok. The service was very slow, even though it wasn't very busy. The bathroom was a little small - with a very low ceiling. My 10 year old daughter got trapped in the bathroom for a few minutes because the door handle got stuck. My husband informed the front desk and asked for another room. He was told the hotel was full and that they would send maintence up to fix it. Noone ever came to fix the door handle. One day there was a severe thunder storm in the area, with flash flood warnings. The satelite went out (not the hotels fault) but the kids were disappointed they couldn't watch tv so we went to the restaruant to get some desert. Well, the restaruant was closed because it flooded. The ceilings were leaking in the hallways and in the pool area. And just when we thought it couldn't get any worse, the fire alarm went off - not once, but twice a couple hours apart. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!
