The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpfull.

It's an older building, well maintained. So the rooms don't shake when someone wallks down the hall. This place is quiet. It is clean. The staff is good and so it is hassle free. Location is good to me. It isn't right next to the freeway, the airport, downtown central or the train tracks. That helps make it quiet. It is weird as when you arrive, it seems to be in the hospital complex. You might miss it the first pass. While it is a little away from previous mentioned places, in Billings you aren't far from any place in the town. We have come to Billings to shop and attend the opera for a great many years. We have tried many places. I think we will be coming back to the Hilltop.

I stayed at the Hilltop out of necessity because I needed something close to the airport. From the other reviews on this site, I figured it would be a nice place to stay, but I wasn't too impressed. The rate was high for what was offered. The continental breakfast was merely coffee and a bagel or muffin, there was hardly any water pressure in the sink or shower, the motel was fairly run-down and the parking was a pain- there's only one entrance to the motel, so if you got there late, the only place to park was a long way from the door. The beds were also hard and uncomfortable. It's clear they get most of their business due to their proximity to the hospital a few hundred feet away, so they kind of have a captive clientele. I stayed for a few nights, then transferred to a different motel which was only about $6 more a night, but WAY better in regards to the breakfast, room cleanliness, water pressure, lighting, bed comfort and other niceties. You'd be well served to avoid the Hilltop.

Very Nice Hotel very quiet. Right next to a Hospital.

The location was a little tricky to find. There is only on entrance to the hotel, could be bad, could be good depending on opinion. The staff was nice and the room was spacious... Loved the room. Very clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay, already booked 2 more nights and hope for the same room or one very simular.

Everything was good but when I went to work out on the exercise equipment, the eliptic machine and treadmill were stuck in low & the seat on the recombent bike would not move & I kept hitting my knees. Gave up on exercising. If you are going to have exercise equipment, please maintain it. It was very frustratiing to me that I didn't get a work out in.

This hotel was clean and neat. It offered the same amenities as higher priced chain hotels, but at a decreased cost. However, the staff I encountered were very unfriendly. Could harldy get them to say hello.
