Made the casinos,but no money to be had,had an enjoyable stay personal were pleasant and ready to help,and like most of my other stays we had a great time.Keep up the team work.......

SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE
While entering the establishment, I was greeted by Brandy, whom was so pleasant. The overall customer service was GREAT! Every staff member was kind and friendly. The waffles at breakfast were delicious.On the other hand, the maintenance of the place could have been a lot better. The elevator looked like it had not been swept in months. Some of the rooms were equipped with a refrigerator and microwave and some were not. The rooms could use a coat of paint in the near future.

Aging Facility
Although a quaint and historic area, the hotel was in need of renovation and updating. The outdoor corridors and "the world's longest catwalk" from our parking lot didn't give us the most secure feeling. Staff friendly and helpful, free popcorn and ice cream a nice amenity, continental breakfast was delicious. Not the most convenient hotel to access from I-20 East with u-turns and Hotel accessiblility being through an adjoining parking lot. No restaurants nearby.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Came to see Vicksburg National Military Park; a mulitude of sights to behold. Wonderful circuit to walk, jog or bike. Spectacular hilly terrain. Like so many cities throughout the U.S. the city's economy obviously has taken it's toll on local businesses here.

the good, the bad, and the ugly
when we arrived they did not have the room we requested, but they did upgrade us for free. However we had to wait 2 hours for the room to be cleaned. Breakfast consisted of half cooked sausage, the other part of the breakfast was ok.

Terrible
Room was odorous of mildew and carpets were dirty. Matress needed to be discarded. Hallways and elevator was filthy

The rooms were nice and big, bathroom was a little cramped but over all this hotel and the rooms with the morning breakfast was very good...

The room was musty with mildew on the ceiling in the bedroom and the bathroom. One clerk on duty during check-in with 5 people waiting on him to check in. Thin walls with too much noise coming from the neighbors.
