So-So
We arrived tired and the hotel had lost our reservation. Clerk made it work though with a first floor room. Bathroom was small and the door was awkwardly placed. Morning buffet was marginal. Coffee so-so and they had no eggs and no gravy for the biscuits. We ended up stopping at McDonalds on the way out of town. Next time, we will book a different hotel.

The bad and the ugly
I booked well in advance only to find out that they don't get the information that I wanted two non smoking rooms and these are not the dream beds like we had in Augusta. Not a great end to a good vacation.

Just don't stay here
I was in town for a competition. I have stayed in this same hotel on more than one occasion and was very pleased with it. This time the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. They did not have enough towels for all their guest. My room had spiders and bugs. They talk about how great their beds are so I must have gotten an old one cause it was hard as a rock. My next trip to the area will include a stay at a different hotel.

Jameson Inn Vicksburg
Trip to this hotel started with being given incorrect directions by the front desk clerk (I was given wrong interstate exit number). Check-in took 20 minutes; there were several guests checking in and only one clerk working the front desk (poor management planning). Once in the room, the air conditioning did not work (temperature outside was 96).Ice machine near the lobby did not work; another guest had to tell me where another ice machine was located due to the one front desk clerk being too busy to tell me where the second ice machine was located. Another guest told me she found 3 ticks in her room. Although wife wanted to check out, I convinced her to stay, thinking things would improve, but the second morning, I took the used towels to the front desk for exchange and was told "we're all out" (I had to locate a housekeeper elsewhere in the hotel who went a found clean towels).Overall, this hotel management poorly supervises the front desk personnel and poorly responses to clients' concerns and needs.

Good but Messed Up My Bill
I love going to the Jameson but for my last two visit they have messed up my bill and the hotel manager seems to be unconcerned. Get rid of the manager but the hotel is GREAT.

room was nice breakfast was good
they were going to put us on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator,I didn't want upstairs so what they had opened was ground floor handicap which was alright and I didn't ask if that was all they had.If it was I had made my reservation in September so they should have had a room for us.All in all the room was alright.

Wonderful Stay!!!
I was surprised how easy the hotel was to find. And the staff was so helpful when checking in! We didn't have any problems getting an available room. There's a little road noise from the interstate, but in the room it's very quite. And I must say that the pictures don't give the rooms and hotel justice. We had a cute decent sized room with a large king sized bed. The bed was nice and firm, but the pillows made my neck hurt since they were so small and puffy. But I have to say the free breakfast was wonderful! So many things to choose from and their biscuits are the best I've had in a long time!! But that's just my opinion. ^___^ And checkout was a breeze. We just sat in the lobby and chatted a bit while waiting for our turn and then was done in a flash! So all in all, I have to give the hotel two big thumbs up for quality and service! I certainly think we'll be staying there again! XD

There is an outlet mall right across the street with a good amount of shops for everyone! You could walk there easily if you were up to it.

Great Hotel In Vicksburg
This was a great location, close to the Vicksburg Battlefield park with easy access to the park, shopping and restaurants.
