Louisiana couple
A little pricey but nice.
A short weekend getaway to do some shopping. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and all other staff people we encountered were friendly.Room was very clean and comfortable.Cost per day was kind of expensive for a three star hotel but I would still recommend this hotel due to cleanliness and friendliness of staff.

Outlet mall was within walking distance of hotel and if you wanted to drive to Jackson to shop it's only about 35 miles down the interstate.

Brand New Clean & Nice Rooms
Going to the beach from NW Arkansas? This hotel is the PERFECT half way point for families with kids-- 7 hours to/from Fayetteville, AR. Very nice staff, outstanding continental breakfast, lovely courtyard pool surrounded by crape myrtles, extraordinarily soft beds. Very safe area: close to National Military Park and the best catfish in Vicksburg-- Rowdy's.

The hotel was definitely a good value! We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was very convenient to the outlet stores & the Vicksburg Battlefield. The staff person upon check-in wasn't very friendly, though - I actually felt as if I were bothering her. Housekeeping & Breakfast personnel were very helpful & friendly, however.

A Pleasant Stay
I was just passing through on my way to my final destination for a work project. The hotel is right off of the interstate, but I never noticed any highway noise. The room was spiffy clean and the area was nice and quiet. One of the nicest aspects of this hotel is the complimentary breakfast (including hot items such and sausage, eggs and cinnamon rolls) AND dinner (simple and basic, but adequate). Another nice aspect -- if you are into national parks or civil war history -- is its proximity to Vicksburg National Military Park, which is less than one mile away.

Exceeded expectations for Holiday Inn
We were there for only one night on our way to Sandestin and wanted to see the Natl. Military Park and other historic areas. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Very new, clean and nicely appointed w/some unexpected amenities (welcome bag w/snacks and fruit).

Weekend Vacation - Retired Couple
The first impression is always the one that sticks to the mind. The attendant behind the desk did just that and was so friendly and helpful. Our weekend was very enjoyable. We visited the Vicksburg National Military park and Museum. Visited the downtown historic riverfront. Great weekend, will consider a return trip.

Very Satisfied
We were in town to attend the Vicksburg Music Festival. The Vicksburg Holiday Inn Express staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. Kudos for making our stay very pleasurable. Great breakfast. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next trip.

Overall, very comfortable and quiet
On check in, room was orderly and nice. Once in the room we smelled strong smell of urine. Called maintenance. Powder was sprinkeled on portion of carpet and was re-vacccumed an hour later. Offensive smells were removed and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Good breakfastin the morning with fresh cinnamon rolls and good coffee. Quiet stay with no noise.

Rowdy's restaraunt has great cornbread delivered to your table in a hot iron skillet. Fried catfish and oysters also on the menu.

Very comfortable atmosphere
Holiday Inn Express Vicksburg MS was definitely a hotel we will stay at again. Rooms are large and have comfortable quality atmosphere. Every evening hotel hosted complimentary hour devours and drinks. Kids loved morning breakfast with warm cinnamon buns. Walking distance is great outlet shopping mall.
