This is a well located, older motel. Judging from the vehicles (trucks) parked in the parking lot, most of the renters were construction workers. My wife and I did not take advantage of their breakfast offering.. The price was right; however, we would like to have a more up scale facility.

Great Stay at Econo Lodge on Clay street . Vicksburg
The room was nice and clean, all the amenities were there and in working order, iron, microwave, etc. Very comfortable bed. Great price for good service.

Good Motel While Traveling Through
We stayed here for one night in March while making a visit to the Vicksburg Battlefield. We had no difficulties at check in, everything in the room was clean and functional.

This is a stop for me on the way to my family's place out of state. Pretty much all hotels here have mold issues. REAL BAD ONES. This new 'green' BS is an excuse to leave the AC off completely when a room is not occupied. The problem with that is in a place like Vicksburg it means humidity!!! Even the mattress we had to sleep on was DAMP and moldy because the room is left to the elements. In Vicksburg hotels need to keep the AC on occupied or not because it RUINS the building! Green here = moldy bed and room for all guests.

Good location for the price
Close to battlefield and outlet mall. Short drive to historic district. Restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and courteous. Had couple minor problems with room which were taken care of promptly.
