A good value
Lobby staff is excellent. Room was clean and comfortable for the money, but nothing special. Good free wi-fi, hot breakfast.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Had a good meal at Duff's Tavern (old historic Downtown on Washington St.). Not impressed with Monsour's at the Biscuit Company. Wanted to try Rusty's Riverfront Grill; not open on Mondays, full with people waiting out front on Tuesday.

Bring House Shoes
The hotel, breakfast, pool, room, bed... all was nice... but we noticed after a few minutes that our babies had black feet from walking on the bed room floor. The carpets need to be CLEANED. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was fine, but the carpet did give us the 'hibby jibbies'

A Nice Hotel at a Nice Price
The Best Western Vicksburg, MS, was a very nice place to stay. The front desk was staffed with two ladies who were courteous and attentive to our needs - they even had a tub faucet on hand to show us how to turn the shower on! The room was spacious and comfortable and there was a separate sitting area with a sofa and coffee table. The location was easy to access from I-20. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a pleasant interlude from driving all day!

We ate supper at a delightful little diner called Gregory's Diner. They offer some of the best fried catfish I've ever eaten!

Very family friendly
This was our second time staying at the Best Western in Vicksburg and, just as last time, our room was very clean and crisp. Everything worked in the room and the staff was courteous and friendly. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room which always comes in handy. They have an indoor pool, which is great when it is raining outside and is one of the reasons why we chose this hotel (summer showers are common in Vicksburg). Our grandkids loved the pool. The only drawback to the indoor pool is that the water is a little cold (wish they would turn the water temperature up just a little bit), but it never stops my granddaughters from having fun anyway! Their location is great. It only takes minutes to get to the Battlefield, Old Courthouse Museum, restaurants, etc.
