HORRIBLE PLACE THAT NEEDS NEW OWNERS!!!
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! BUGS IN ROOM! WORN OUT FURNITURE! DOORS FALLING APART! NO ONE SHOULD STAY HERE... IT IS NOT FIT FOR BARN ANIMALS!

No Coffee Joe
Hot Room & No Coffee
We checked in late, room air was not even on??? Took over an hour for room to cool. Old stale condiments for coffee in room next morning. So I went to the lobby to get my wife a cup of coffee. No coffee in lobby????? Breakfast was basically non existent (only thing to appear edible was a packaged muffin. Location OK. Recommend to spend a little more $ and stay somewhere else!!!

I would not recommend this hotel.
Small, older hotel. Even though the bathroom was clean, the bed linens and carpet were worn out. The room had a little stinch too. The hotel's office was cluttered and in disarray.

Great Place to Stay
Rooms were roomy and staff was excellent. The front desk clerk was great, when I couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower, he walked up to show us. I was very happy with the service and room itself.

i think it was a good value for amount paid. clean, well kept, friendly. only problems i had was the wi fi kept going on and off for two days then just quit all together. over all i would go back. close to campus.

Saving grace
Great central location near Mississippi State University, downtown, and all restaurants (Starkville isn't that big anyway). Efficient and kind staff; check-in and out were pleasant experiences. I was only able to reserve this room through [...]. All other hotel websites were "booked." It was a saving grace for a procrastinating graduate. My family was able to watch me walk across the stage thanks to [...]. We were even able to switch from a smoking to non-smoking room during the check-in.

Short drive from hotel
Dave's Darkhorse Tavern is the best bar in town. Excellent pizza, 2 for 1 drink specials, usually great bands, etc. It's dark and noisy like a pub and the only place where all age groups can feel welcome (and escape annoying frat/sorority kids).
