Great Overnight Visit
I found the Jameson Inn online. I had planned on staying at another hotel, but their overnight rate was ridiculous. The Jameson was in the same vicinity for almost $60 cheaper. The staff was very polite and helpful. My room was clean, and they served a great continental breakfast. I would definitely stay there again

Nice, but one slip-up.....
I am not a demanding traveler--the inn was fine, the folks courteous. I put out the "Do not disturb" sign two days in a row, removing it when I left at about 1pm, and on both days my room was untouched by housekeeping. I meant to leave a tip for the one day they did clean, but I completely forgot to do so. HP

Budget friendly hotel
Jameson Inn Review
We stayed to visit family. Reasonable price for value (since other higher end hotels were way overpriced for area). Pool contained dead bird and did not appear to have been cleaned during our entire five day trip. The initial room we were put into had a plugged shower and therefore felt like we were taking a bath during our shower. The staff was extremely nice and accomodated the request to change our room. The pool was small and directly adjacent to freeway, so it was not really relaxing or private. We may choose a different hotel in downtown Jackson next time...making it a little longer of a commute but worth it if the hotel is better.

Great location, great value
My key would not work, so the pregnet girl would go to my room and unlock my door with the master key as needed. I know that was an effort for her, but she did it with a smile. Good luck with the baby.
