Needs updating
Hotel is in a good location but interior is 10 years past a needed updating. Hall carpets are stained and walls need paint and/or wall paper. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. For the price I was expecting more. Would I stay here again? Probably not will look for another hotel that that is more modern.

Disappointed...
I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn before, and since I had to drive through Memphis, I figured this would be a semi-safe area to stay in order to break up my drive. When I arrived, it was easy to fine and seemed like an okay area. I walked in, the staff was friendly, I was given my room and then it seemed to go down hill from there. I go up to my room and this hotel looked like it needed SERIOUS updating...there were also several hairs on my towels and it looked run down in general. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it before (I got a non-smoking room), the tv was small, the bathroom was pretty icky however it looked like they had tried to clean it. I was sorely disappointed. I did not expect anything fancy however I did expect something a little cleaner and newer. For the money, I felt I could have gone somewhere else and at least gotten a hotel room that was I wasn't afraid to use the towels. The bonus--the staff was VERY nice. But next time, I will go somewhere else.

Great overnight stop
Just an overnight stay. Rooms were bright and cheery and very clean. Service was excellent, breakfast was great. Whzt more could you ask for.

Loved It !!!!
The hotel was very clean. The halls were quite and the staff was very helpful. I had two little dogs with me and they were allowed to stay in the room with me. They also had a great breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.

Relaxing Getaway for Two
Enjoyed our stay. Staff make sure that the weekend was worry free. Plenty to do in Olive Branch and so close to Memphis. Simple to use wireless internet. Great new HOT breakfast. Safe and secure. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

Extremely nice staff
2 fairly recent trips to this hotel. 1st one back in December of 2007. Had some bottles that required an opener - the night Manager gave me his personal opener for the night. 2nd trip in March of 2008. Asked to change room from smoking to non-smoking (no problem). They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Olive Branch/Southaven area. The price was about $30 to $50 cheaper per night!
