Great Stay!
Was there for the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race. Location was great!!! Room was clean and staff was friendly and very helpful. Room could have used a microwave, but was overall well worth the price without it. Would stay there again.

Disgusted in Natchez
Horrible
The Passport Inn was horrible the rooms were nasty the bed look as if it was from a time warp. When I walked into the room you i immediaitely knew it was not a place I would stay.[...] This was just nasty and I would never suggest it to anyone!

Comfortable Stopover
Room was ready for check in. Nice flat screen tv. Near several chain restaurants. Only 10 minutes to downtown Natchez. Bed and amenities were what we were expecting for the bargain on line price we got.

Across the highway (drive don't walk) is a KFC buffet for $5.00. It was a nice meal.

Don't let the looks fool you!
I was in Natchez to attend the Hot Air Balloon Fest. We called ahead of time to let them know we would be a late arrival since we were attending evening events at the Fest before checking in. We arrived about 8:30 pm and given the keys. When we got to the room and opened the door I was in shock. It looked like someone was still staying there. The bed was unmade, there was trash and empty bottles on the floor and dirty towels all over the room. I went downstairs to explain the situation and ask for another room. I was told there were no more available rooms that they would have housekeeping clean it right away. When I returned to the room I then noticed it was a smoking room and had several cigarette butts in the ashtray. My reservation was made 5 months prior and specifically requested no-smoking since I have an allergy issue with smoke. I then returned to the desk and said that while I might overlook the room being dirty I can not sleep in a smoking room. After a few minutes the clerk then said she had a room on the other side of the building with 2 double beds instead of a king bed, which I took. I actually was more angry that she lied the first time about not having a room available than I was at the room being dirty. This is not the way to do business. To top it off there were crickets between the sheet and blanket and on one of the pillows when I turned down the bed. We got rid of the crickets and fortunately they didn't return! About the only good thing I can say is that they had a decent continental breakfast.

This hotel turned out to be a great location for watching the balloons take off. About 6 took off in the parking lot next to the hotel or in an empty feild next to the hotel

would'nt stay here again
Seems to be a major stop for contractors. They came in late, quite noisy and left early in the morning. Room had peeling paint, microwave with timer know missing,light switch missing faceplate, and many other omissions. Staff was courteous. A plus was they had a great breakfast.

Disappointing
This hotel should be closed and torn down or completely renovated, probably tearing down and building new facility would be best. We felt we should have been paid to stay there. How disappointing to travel that far for a family reunion and have such a horrific place to stay that we paid good money to stay at.

OUR 8TH ANNIV. VACATION
WE TOURED PLANTATION HOMES, TOOK THE CARRIAGE RIDE, HAD DINNER, LOTS OF DIFFERENT THINGS, VERY GOOD PLACE FOR A GET AWAY CLOSE TO LOUISISANA WHICH IS WHERE WE ARE FROM. VERY ENJOYABLE ENCLUDING THE ROOM WHICH WAS VERY CLEAN & QUIET.
