Golf Trip

The location was ideal for my activities while in Natchez. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. For what was offered on the breakfast menu it was very good. The room was very clean and fresh including bath towels and bed linens. The tv reception could have been better but the channel selection was good. If they would update the furniture it would add alot to the rooms. I would not have any problem staying there on my next trip to Natchez.

Honest appraisal of Days Inn Natchez

Stayed there for the Natchez Tennis Tournament so good location for being close to the action. Only reason I would give it as high as a 2 is that it was cheap ,otherwise a 1. Relatively clean room but very inconvenient set up. No place to work at the sink. coffee maker was a single cup model not woth the trouble. Air conditioner worked but was loud and when it cycled on and off startled you so not good night's rest. TV was old and picture was terrible. Breakfast was sub standard ( coffee maker in lobby had been broken for three days) to the point we drove down to McDonald's for breakfast on the second day. Pay more somewhere else next time.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Natchez lacks bargains for the most part in the restaurant categogy. The food is okay but overpriced compared to what is offered in LA, especially Baton Rouge or Lafayette. This aplies to every level of dining not just the top end. Best bet we did find was Fat Mama's Tamales on Canal. Great Margaritas ($5) good deals on Tamales and Gringos Pie. They have an outside patio that provides a fun environment. It's just a few blocks from the riverfront area and the area seems safe for walking.

It's Ok

The bed was comfortable, clean and did not sag. There was hot water and it was quiet. The most important areas were clean such as the bathtub and sink, but if you take a closer look, you could tell the carpet had not been cleaned in a while and the furniture was dinged up and there were repairs needing to be done in the room. It is no Holiday Inn, but it is not a pay by the hour motel either. It was close to downtown Natchez, but not in a bad area. The breakfast was decent with make your own waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels and juice. I would stay here again.

HORRIBLE DAYS INN

I choose not to stay there after checking in. Wireless internet wasn't available like advertise in every room. This Days Inn was in horrible condition for the price that we paid. I wouldn't recommend this particular Days Inn to anyone!

an OK stay

The hotel is old, the room was furnished with old furniture. The overall experience was average compared to my other trips. The staff was very friendly, helpful with where to eat, what to do while in Natchez. The only thing I did not appreciate was a dead bug on the floor in the bathroom and a dirty toilet.
