Adequate
Ok. Noisy . Small room. No lamp by bed to read by. I think walls must not be thick enough . Here everything talked about in next room

Great for a night or 2
Place is clean, quiet and comfortable. A great value for a short stay. Could use a little updating but that did not affect my stay.

Upon booking this hotel I was a little worried due to the price. God knows that you ALWAYS get what you pay for.. Until now! This hotel was clean, and very cozy. The rooms (although they look small in pictures) were so very spacious. I'm not going to lie, I am a chain smoker and there is nothing I like more than to be able to sit in the room in smoke rather than stepping outside every time I feel the urge. The desk clerk was so very helpful especially when I forgot my tooth paste! She handed me a few small packs and I was ready to go! The breakfast was also a nice touch. It wasn't the typical packs of oatmeal and some hot water, this Hotel provided sausage gravy with fresh biscuits, sausage, self-made waffles, muffins, multiple choices of cereal, and much much more. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, and would also refer anyone looking for a very nice room for a great price to this Microtel Inn in Meridian, Mississippi.

If you and your honey are looking for a nice place to dine near-by, there is a wonderful selection of Outback, Olive Garden, Chili's, and Honey Baked Ham, Sake Sushi, and Yo Yo's for Desert!

I have stayed here 4 times for work in Meridian. Most visits were very good. bed and room are above average. Lobby is smelly but actual room is deceit. Nice bed and location.

There are better Choices
Small room but did the job. Bed was less than clean. Comforter had, um, stuff, made me feel the sheets may be less desirable. Chair for desk so badly stained, didnt dare sit in it. Bathroom dirty. Just felt the overall cleanliness could have been better. There are better budget priced choices in Meridian.

Not impressed
Even though this was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, the downstairs halls smell like they tried to cover up the smoke smell with alot of sprays! It stinks! With so many choices, we would not choose this hotel again. Location is good though.

In Meridian to work
Room was clean, bed comfortable. Perfect if you are looking for a place to sleep for 8 hrs or so. My room was small. I found it quiet, but I do bring a fan whenever I travel. Location is great with eateries near by. I felt secure and safe.

Dissapointing
Smoke free room was freshly smoked in. Just a general lack of good cleanliness in the whole operation. Great price, but not worth it.

Overall: Above Average
Front desk staff was just okay. The women that staffed the front desk were so-so. Not overly friendly, but not rude either. The room we stayed in was extremely small, however, the cleaniness of the room was outstanding! The bed was super comfortable and the pillows had just enough fluff to provide two nights of restful sleep. The location is awesome! Mall right across the street, tons of nationally known restaurants (both sit down and fast food). They did have a washer and dryer for guests use which was really handy just to get a few things washed. They have a contintenal breakfast area, has your basic breakfast things, but you really can't complain because its free! We would definately stay there again, if we pass thru there.
