Good enough
I was in town for my cousin's wedding and booking a hotel room in Meridian is always infuriating. I think the rooms there are way overpriced, but unfortunately it's one those little towns that everyone stops for the night on their long drives. So I know I'll have to spend at least $60/night on a room there. The Jameson was alright for the price. It's in a safe part of town, it has free breakfast (that I never got to try because it ends too early for me), and the staff were nice. The room wasn't the cleanest, but it also wasn't the dirtiest I've stayed in. I would keep my socks on. Also the walls are really thin. Each morning I awoke around 7 to the sound of the thundering herds leaving in the morning, but that's something you get with every motel room.

Clean nice hotel. Friendly staff. Noisy neighborhood though - two trains, several police/fire vehicles with sirens in the night hours. breakfast was ok, but kinda skimpy. I felt safe in the hotel. Kleenex ran out after 3-4 sheets -- no refill in room. Amenities otherwise ok. Would stay again for hotel; noise maybe not so much. Noise not hotel related. Hotel room rub and ottoman kinda threadbare or nearing so.

Tired traveler
Not bad, but not great.
Was a bit confusing to find the motel in the rain and fog. Staff was nice at check in. TV worked well and had plenty of channels. Walking distance to nice restaurants. The towels were soft, but the amenities were below average. We weren't late to breakfast, but items were running low. We found what everyone needed and replenished the counter.

Nights stay for football game
We were only there for one night because we were on our way to a football game but the room was nice & clean & we really enjoyed the continental breakfast.

Good value, clean rooms, good beds
Good room. Clean. Beds good quality. Bedding good quality. Room quiet. Great location to resturants, shopping, interstate. Stayed here many times. Breakfast quality dropping. Attention to details like PAM for waffle maker, no fruit, no coffee cups to go.

not a happy camper
do u think i'm an idiot
we arrived at the hotel and went to room to relax in th a/c. which didnt work. when i complained to the front desk i was told that the room was hot because it was a hot day. after one scalding night i complained again and finally they replaced the unit. the staff was rude and tried to make excuses that the a/c didnt work cause it was hot outside. well i'm no idiot, and will never stay there again.

Good for One (or maybe ) Two Nights
Heavy Rain, Bad weather, unable to get out to see (sights) if any... For a holiday week-end (Memorial day) it was a real bummer. went down for Breakfast, everything picked over, not replenished, and couters not cleaned... Good self-made waffle... no syrup, and no one around to get more syrup. Trash cans overflowing.... CLEAN ROOM, COMFORTABLE BED, VERY SLOW WiFi... C+ at best on a good day

Mothers day linkup
Currently living in Texas while the rest of the family lives in Georgia until our house sells. Met half way to spend the evening and next day with wife and in-laws for mother's day. Wonderfull stay, friendly staff, and clean, quiet rooms.
