Nice, friendly place, but housekeepers need training
This is actually a nice, modern, and friendly hotel, probably the nicest in Meridian. We were visiting my sister-in-law, so we didn't try the restaurant, but it was nice it was there. Staff was friendly. The reason fort the weak review is that we
had trouble with housekeeping. The first day, we didn't take the "do not disturb" sign off the door until about 11' and they never cleaned the room. We came back that night to an unmade bed and dirty towels, so I went downstairs and spoke to the front desk to make sure it would not happen again. They were very nice and ver apologetic. The next day, we came home to an unmade bed, with a handwritten note that the housekeeper had not cleaned it because there were personal articles on the bed (a newspaper and a pair of pajamas!). We spoke to the front desk, and it never happened again (we were there five days), but clearly their training of housekeepers left something to be desired.
