Unsafe
I don't recommend traveling here alone, or leaving your wife/kids unattended...very unsafe area and the rooms were far from clean or comfortable. One nighter and get out of there if you just need to save the money.

Great night especially for the price
The room was clean and ready for us. No hassle check in or check out. The breakfast was very good with an assortment of items including cereal, waffles, oranges, muffins, grits, oatmeal etc. You didn't leave hungry. The front clerk helped us by finding information on the computer and printing it out for us. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Best bed and pillows ever!
My stay was pleasant. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pillows on the bed were soooo soft and comfortable. The hotel was nice and clean. I am a neat freak, so I have to have a clean environment! After a hot shower, I went straight to sleep. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't have refrigerators/microwaves in the room. You have to use the microwave in the lobby, but other than that, it was great!

it's okay
You get what you pay for. If you're traveling on the I 20, it is actually a little out of the way. But it was cheaper than the other La Quinta. I liked the food.
