Jameson Inn Jackson, MS

Room was very clean and exactly as requested, King non-smoking. Friendly staff, continental breakfast - everything was in place for the price range. We don't like paying too much for a room. Jameson Inn met/exceeded expectations, which is important since we'd never stayed at any Jameson Inn location and weren't sure how it would stack up. We plan on keeping Jameson Inn among our list of options when traveling out-of-town! Certainly would stay here again when in the area.

This Jameson Inn is a few blocks off Interstate-55, which makes it not like being in a motel. It is a small complex, which makes it more like a condo than a hotel-motel. It has a quiet location. Nice dog walk out back (I have a small dog). The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Very comfortable bed. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Everything was great...we were only there to rest. Really wasn't too much leisure. Great nights rest!!

We were there for a concert-- close to interstate (didn't hear cars though). Great service by people who really cared. Good fitness equipment, but no ellipticals (one treadmill and two bikes with an all in one weight machine). Also, I liked that I couldn't hear any neighbors. The bed was relatively hard (andd the ac is one that doesn't start cool/heat right away. Also, bathrm small, but it ended up being perfectly fine. I liked that breakfast was offered, and had the waffle maker, but wish had protein (ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, etc.)

It was a nice trip and very peaceful. The hotel was nice. The breakfast was okay...at least they had a waffle maker. :)

The Jameson Inn Jackson was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I enjoyed the continental breakfast that was provided. I didn't particularly care for the location of the hotel. There was a hair dryer provided in the room but there wasn't an iron or ironing board available in the room. Overall I thought the hotel was average for the cost we paid.

The Jameson Inn was a very comfortable and relaxing experience. At the check-in I was greeted by very hospitable clerks. Once in my room I was pleased to find the air conditioner worked perfectly, (Which is a must in Mississippi during the Summer), and that the sink was seperate from the bathroom. The continental breakfast they serve is pretty nice, pancakes or waffles depending on what you want, as well as plenty of coffee. The surrounding area has many good restaurants, Olive Garden, Outback, as well as plenty of fast food joints if you don't want a sit down area. Overall it was a nice stay and I would go back if I am in the area.

The Jameson Inn was average in pretty much all respects, except that the staff was friendly and helpful. While everything was clean, the overall impression left from our stay was negative. The room was dark due to a very small window and the air conditioner oppressive (noice and no fresh air). there was no way to open a window to get fresh air. The bathroom amenities were minimal. While the area for the breakfast was pleasant and nicely decorated, the breakfast was minimal. The breakfast ran out of basics like bananas (if there were any in the first place) and the orange juice dispenser was not working (I would have provided orange juice in a carton). There was a dearth of healthy alternatives to the biscuits and gravy. The pool area look pleasant, but we did not use the pool so we have no comments there. The one nice thing about the Inn was that it was in a quiet location -- off the freeway a little and backing onto some woods.

The Jameson was very clean. The staff was friendly and called the room to ask if everything met our expectations. We enjoyed the breakfast. They had a nice variety for a continental breakfast.
