Jackson Hotel and Suites

ok, except for the room was called non-smoking and it reeked of smoke and there were cigarette burns on the furniture and the bathtub(!). also sink was busted and patched poorly.

Hard to find because there is no sign! Staff was friendly. Room was clean but had a bad smell. It was late when I arrived and I just wanted to get to sleep so I didn't ask for another room. Continental breakfast was ok.

A swimming pool and microwave would have been nice. Exercise room equipment broken except for one machine could not use due to knee problems. The breakfast was plentiful except for last two days of stay when there were fewer people. Inadequate amount of coffee for most days--ran out. Very little food at breakfast the last two days. Housekeeping staff very good and room was spacious. Internet super slow due to inadequate broad band.

Tired worn out rooms. Broken shower rod and toilet seat. No guest service numbers available on in room phones. Inexpensive painted sign over entrance "Jackson Hotel" This cannot be a 3 star hotel!

This hotel has free full breakfast, the staff was helpful and friendly and it had comfortable beds. However it was hard to find with no real hotel sign on the building, the room I was in wasn't very clean but acceptable. The location is right off the interstate and near fast food restaurants and gas station. Overall it was a good value.

Check in was a breeze, although perhaps a little too easy. Since my stay was pre-paid I would expect to have to show identification, but this was not required. The suites were very spacious, but the furniture was quite Spartan. The faucets all had dark, rusty water for the first few seconds and the bathtub in the first room we stayed in did not drain. We switched rooms after the first night after noticing a bug infestation. The new room had fewer bugs (few enough to go unnoticed by my wife). However, the second room had its own host of maintenance issues. There are plenty of other, newer hotels available around the fairgrounds for the value-conscious traveller. Consider them.

There's a 50/50 chance you'll get friendly staff, our room wasn't disgusting but it wasn't all that clean either. The location was perfect and for what we paid for the room it was a decent value. Their "king sized" beds are wide but I'm 5'7" and my feet almost hung over the edge of the bed. Also the "free cable" cuts in and out and the internet signal wasn't even enough for me to check my email.

the hotel was right around the corner from where we were showing pigs. the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

My stay was great. Very convient to the area I needed to be. Room was clean staff was very nice. i actually recommended this hotel to someone in our group that needed to find a room when they arrived. The breakfast there was wonderful. I will stay again when in that area.

I really enjoyed this place. I just wish I could have stayed longer. I am upset though. When I saw the rooms online they had a flat screen tv, but when I got there, my tv was dinosaur old. Other than the television every thing else is great. I will most defiantly come back to hotel.
