I got what I paid for.
I was there for a medical school interview. I got what I paid for. It was neither clean nor dirty, quiet nor loud, poor nor spectacular. As I said, you get what you pay for.

The nightmare from HELL !!!!!!!
We chose this motel because other family members were staying there. When we first arrived at our room I picked up a dead roach from the floor. Then I looked around and saw alot of dust and dirt.I pulled the cover back and the bed looked okay. That night my husband went to the bathroom and a lizzard ran across his foot.In the middle of the night our air conditioning went out. The next morning my husband said "GET UP WE HAVE BED BUGS!!" We put the dead roach, dead lizzard and the LIVE bed bugs in a bag and took them to the office upon check out and with no argument they refunded our money. I will NEVER stay at The Red Carpet Inn again.

Red Carpet Inn - Hattiesburg
Needed an inexpensive place to stay while working in Hattiesburg and the Red Carpet Inn suited that purpose. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the room amenities such as the microwave and fridgerator were nice. Overall the hotel was just a little run down. The ground were somewhat unkept, the pool dirty, and the rooms less than clean (peeling wallpaper w/ mildew behind it, carpet in need of cleaning, and bath area less than sparkling). Traveling for construction work, I definately experienced worse, but if you are uncomfortable with a place that doesn't really "feel" very sanitized, then this hotel may not be for you.

Place to sleep and shower
Open drain in the tub, no stopper or closure of any kind. Only had one lock on the door, top dead bolt lock broken off. Continental breakfast food was stale and tasteless.

Absolutely disgusting
The rooms was damp and dank. As well as moldy and smelled really bad. The air conditioner didn't work well at all and the mold and mildew made everyone staying in the room sick. The tub and sink didn't drain. And even with the door tag on the outside door handle requesting maid service, the room wasn't cleaned. This was a horrible experience, and absolutely disgusting.
