The staff was beyond wonderful Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Special kudos to Chelsea. Great food available. We had a problem with the toilet late Saturday evening and they sent a maintenance person right away and had it fixed within a half hour. Amazing.

Rude Awakening!!
A friend and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend for a girls trip/getaway. Check out time is 12:00pm. We went out the night before and didn't get in until 2:30am, needless to say, hoping to sleep in the next morning, and by sleep in, I mean to get up and check out by 11 (an hour before check out). At 9am, we were rudely awakened by a housekeeper trying to get in our room. She used a key to open the door and was slamming it against the latch (thank goodness we used it) and was screaming in the room asking when we were checking out so she could clean our room!! I called the manager later that day to let him know what had happened (Brian) and he wasn't concerned with it at all. He asked if I wanted to speak to the housekeeping supervisor to find out who it was....as if this was going to help anything?? So, if you are a hard working mother of 3, like my friend and I both are, don't think you will be coming here to relax and "sleep in"! I definitely will not be going back!

Excellent Geataway
My experience was way better than expected. The staff was really nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the overall location was great (across from the beach). We will definitely stay here again!

Tropical Storm Lee
We arrived at this hotel during Tropical Storm Lee; many of the rooms had leaks in them due to the strong winds. Not sure if we would ever stay there again.

Perfect Getaway
walked across the street to the beach for a perfect day and walked next door and had a great dinner.Rooms very clen and comfortable, staff very heplful. We will be back.

Plesantly Surprised
Right across the street from the beach. Very nicely appointed. Kid friendly. VERY LARGE POOL with plenty of patio tables/chairs, lounge chairs around the pool. Excellent exercise room with Nautilaus equipment, treadmills, ellipitcal, bikes, weights, medicine balls, water, music, tv. Very clean all over the property. Nice huge oaks on the grounds provide shade. Gas fire pit area and they provide skewers to roast marshmellows or make smores. (must provide your own goodies) Staff was very accommodating and we were very impressed with this place for booking site unseen or without researching or getting a recommendation.

Courtyard Marriot - Gulfport, MS
I happen to smoke a little bit so I asked for a "smoking" room on the internet site. This hotel has zero smoking anywhere inside. I think I should have been informed. Because of poor weather in Dallas I had to stay an extra day and, I was told, would have to pay a higher rate than the package I'd bought but the "higher" rate didn't seem much different. The staff is very helpful and to a man/woman were efficient and friendly. Truly. Coffee in the lobby is decent and the breakfast menu is cheap and good for those who can eat that early in the morning.

The hotel is across the street from the Gulf. The view and proximity to that beach/water is very handy and picturesque. Nice view.
