AWSOME for price paid.

I picked up a last minute deal. EXCELLENT price , repeat EXCELLENT Price, especially since it was during Cruising the Coast. They even included a $10.00 food credit! MY ONLY WHINE: When I got into my room, I called the operator to see if I was supposed to get a voucher, she said no, it would credit on my account. I went down to the breakfast buffet before checking out and getting back on the road. Upon Checkout, I had to pay for the Buffet. It was then I was told that the credit was for Steak and Shake only. NOW, the woman was very nice and even offered to let me run and grab food from Steak and Shake, I declined as I had just gorged out at the feed-a-thon. AGAIN, I KNOW I WAS WHINING. GREAT PRICE, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, VERY CLEAN ROOM.

Nice week end

Amy was wonderful at the front desk. Service check in was fast and fabulous. At check-in elevators were delayed. But on ofttimes they rode very quickly. Room is clean and the heater worked well

There are lots of local restaurants near the hotel, including Shaggy's, which had excellent oysters on the half shell.

Quick getaway

Quick getaway for my wife and I. We only spent one night, but the hotel was nice. The casino floor was smaller than we expected but overall friendly staff and clean atmosphere.

No Room at the Inn

Reserved a 'Double Room" weeks in advance. Arrived at hotel at 7:30 PM and was told no double rooms were available. Hard to believe this since the hotel has hundreds of rooms and our arrival was early enough. Desk clerk insistent that we accept one single room and had no other choice. We had to take a single handicap room. Very uncomfortable fitting four people in one king double bed. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel was nice. Enjoyed the Stake and Shake (They do not accept coupons).

Staying here only when there's a deal

The hotel is fine. However, the staff - from the bell hop to the housecleaning - are just rude. When asking the house cleaning staff for additional shampoo and conditioner, I got an attitude as if I intended on freeloading. It was insulting. Perhaps the hotel should have additional training on how to treat patrons. I will not be returning here unless there's a good deal involved.
