Love the Beau
LB Charlotte Nov 3, 2009
Nothing in Biloxi compares to the Beau. It is the class of the casinos. The rooms are great, the lobby is beautiful, the ... casino is spacious and the dining is decent. Only negative is that they closed Olives Restaurant which was fantastic so the dining options are not what they used to be.

Great hotel, great price
Brandon Oct 5, 2009
My cavils: * (Non-buffet) Hotel restaurants were closed during the week; it would have been nice to have known this in ... advance. * The hotel concierge was lousy. * I actually had to wait in line for ten minutes to check in. Wow! Despite the nitpicks, I would certainly recommend the hotel. The rooms were great, the common areas were definitely 4-star, and there wasn't too much smoke in the casino or common areas (seriously, will casinos go smoke free already?)

The good, bad and the ugly
Sl the traveler Aug 23, 2009
The check in person was not very observant - my husband recently broke his leg and is on a cane - hobbles along - she put us ... in the furtherst end of a hall - the next day the assistant manager was great and moved us next to an elevator which was very nice. First night, the bed sagged in the middle but once we were moved - the bed was much better. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Food at the buffet was good, as at the cafe. The coffee deal is great - buy in the morning and coffee is free all day long - its 7.00 for two cups but we went back three times so we were pleased with the deal! Majority of the staff was friendly except for the last morning - we were eating in the cafe in the early AM - the waitress was upset at her co-workers and was very vocal about it - eventually two of the waitresses had words. We ate and left, the couple that was with us decided to not order. Overall the stay was nice - just a few glitches.

one night of luxury
bigwheel Aug 21, 2009
Enjoyed the pool which had excellant service with towels and assisting with any issues immediately. The gym was high tech ... allowing a complete body workout. The room was extra large. The TV didn't have many channels guess it was assumed your time would be downstairs in the casino. The TV did have music channels which I enjoyed while watching the sun go down. No coffee maker in room would have enjoyed watching sun come up with coffee. Overall a relaxing night of luxury from the hot days of summer.

Great get away!
Sunshine Gal May 30, 2009
Valet service is very good, very Vegas with a little southern charm thrown in! Bell service is also great. Reception desk ... professional but not a lot of personality. The rooms are large, comfortable and well kept. Love the separate shower in the bathroom and a large "lounging" tub. The restaurants serve good food but the prices are just too high unless you want to live on the buffet! For instance, $75+ for two sushi rolls, miso soup and desert is a bit much. The location couldn't be better. Right on the Gulf. I was truly disappointed that there was NO entertainment (other than gambling) at the hotel during my stay. Not even a lounge act.

Great hotel, everything costs extra
KeliNicole Apr 22, 2009
The hotel was beautiful and grand. The casino a bit smaller than I expected for the price of the hotel. Food/restaurants were ... at Vegas pricing...$20 per person for buffet etc. Walls were super thin and we had kids staying next to us who kept banging on the walls and trying to get into our room through the connecting door. No conditioner in toiletries. No coffee maker, no microwave or refrigerator. Location was ok considering Hurricane Katrina wiped most everything out. Next door to Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Across the street from Waffle House. We ate breakfast there for $2.99 each. If you have to choose stay here. Other hotels were run down and dirtier.
Traveler type: Couples
Take a right out of the parking garage/valet area from hotel and drive about 10 minutes over the bridge to come to the town. That is where the locals live and there are restaurants and shopping (Walmart).

Great Place for Couples
Brandy Aug 4, 2008
This hotel is nice if you'd just like to park your car and not have to leave again for the entire trip. You can Gamble, eat, ... shop, swim, lots of things to do in large area without ever having the leave the site and go somewhere else. The pool was small for a Resort this size would recommend a nicer, larger pool.
