Beau Rivage - December 09
Good to excellent physical plant. Average food. Average service. (Typical casino hotel, I guess) Very nice Christmas decorations. Clean, but not spotless. No in-room bar. Hotel seems to bus in a great many older gamblers. Lots of canes, walkers, wheelchairs and oxygen tanks. Also, typical casino - everyone smokes (we did have a non-smoking room, by request).

Love the Beau
Nothing in Biloxi compares to the Beau. It is the class of the casinos. The rooms are great, the lobby is beautiful, the casino is spacious and the dining is decent. Only negative is that they closed Olives Restaurant which was fantastic so the dining options are not what they used to be.

Great hotel, great price
My cavils: * (Non-buffet) Hotel restaurants were closed during the week; it would have been nice to have known this in advance. * The hotel concierge was lousy. * I actually had to wait in line for ten minutes to check in. Wow! Despite the nitpicks, I would certainly recommend the hotel. The rooms were great, the common areas were definitely 4-star, and there wasn't too much smoke in the casino or common areas (seriously, will casinos go smoke free already?)

Family Reunion
The accomondations were top scale. I was very pleased with my stay. My only problem was I didn't stay long enough. I will be back if ever given the opportunity. The pool side was very nice. Cabana club great way to start the day.

The good, bad and the ugly
The check in person was not very observant - my husband recently broke his leg and is on a cane - hobbles along - she put us in the furtherst end of a hall - the next day the assistant manager was great and moved us next to an elevator which was very nice. First night, the bed sagged in the middle but once we were moved - the bed was much better. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Food at the buffet was good, as at the cafe. The coffee deal is great - buy in the morning and coffee is free all day long - its 7.00 for two cups but we went back three times so we were pleased with the deal! Majority of the staff was friendly except for the last morning - we were eating in the cafe in the early AM - the waitress was upset at her co-workers and was very vocal about it - eventually two of the waitresses had words. We ate and left, the couple that was with us decided to not order. Overall the stay was nice - just a few glitches.

one night of luxury
Enjoyed the pool which had excellant service with towels and assisting with any issues immediately. The gym was high tech allowing a complete body workout. The room was extra large. The TV didn't have many channels guess it was assumed your time would be downstairs in the casino. The TV did have music channels which I enjoyed while watching the sun go down. No coffee maker in room would have enjoyed watching sun come up with coffee. Overall a relaxing night of luxury from the hot days of summer.

too pricey
was told on beach, approx. 1/2 mi walk to beach, no coffee pots in room, $15 for room service pot of coffee after included tax and gratuity. If you're not interested in gambling, stay somewhere else. Could have gone to cancun for price of weekend.
