Family Vacation
The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it gave a wonderful holiday feeling! We were surprised, though, there was no coffee maker in the room for such a nice hotel. Everyone had to go to The Roasted Bean for coffee. Not a big deal, but the coffee there was extremely weak. We had to get one regular coffee and an expresso coffee to mix just to get a good cup of coffee. The bed, pillows, bathroom, and view were first rate. The casino was large and crowded, but the pay outs were very stingy...very few bells and whistles going off, so we spent most of our time at another casino down the street. The buffet had a great variety of food, but stay away from the omelets unless you like lots of oil! The cook used a ladle of oil to cook the veggies and another ladle to cook the eggs. He then mixed the two pans together with all the oil...OMGosh pool of oil on my plate! Add to that, cold cheese grits and last nights potatoes made my meal unpalatable. We ate at other hotels for the rest of our stay. So the casino and food weren't to our liking, the room was wonderful. I would stay here again, just eat and gamble elsewhere.

This was my 1st time to stay here & i must say i LOVED it.I can't wait to plan my next trip. The room was BIG & CLEAN. The Food was great.Maybe a lil over priced compared to HARD ROCK next door(where i also ate) but when u gamble and use your player card it helps get you "comp points" which u can use for a discount on food.
