I didn't have any issues checking in or out, the room was a fantastic value for what I paid! We had zero issues and would definitley recommend this hotel to anyone. It was extremelly clean and when we asked for more pillows they promptly brought
them. I'm not sure why this is a 1 star hotel, I thought it was a great stay!
We had a good stay at this hotel. It was really close to the renaissance faire we were in town to go to, and right next to Wentzville Parkway which has lots of restaurants and pretty much any store you need. Checking in was kind of weird, the
guy working the counter didn't seem to understand what to do even though we booked our room online but he got someone else to check us in and after that it was fine :) our room was bigger than expected, had TV and air conditioning and was generally very clean and comfortable. They also have a pool, but I didn't get a chance to check it out. Overall we had a good stay, though one downside is the continental breakfast was not very impressive. Oh yeah, and the doors DO lock, contrary to some other reviews I've seen. It's just that if you test the handle from inside it will open, but try locking someone out and you will see that it works :)
I had chose this location because it was within 5 minutes of my original destination. When we arrived, there weren't any cars so we thought the place had closed. Upon checking in, the lobby smelled of smoke even though it was smoke free. Our
room was dusty, and did not look clean. Half of our lights did not work and there was items left in the room from the previous guest. The door leading from the outside into the hallway did not lock, not even at night, nor did the window on our first floor room lock. The sheets and towels were clean, but we felt we needed to wear our shoes in the hotel at all times. The free high speed internet did not work unless you had the blinds open and were sitting at the windowsill. The staff smoked throughout the building even though the hotel was no-smoking. Overall a terrible experience I would not recommend this to anyone.
