Good Value

The hotel is nice and a good value. Rooms are comfortable. Location is a bit sketchy, on the boarder of a rough part of town and a new up and coming area. Lots of restaurant choices in walking distance. Rating would be 3 1/2 stars if the system allowed.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Lots of good options in the immediate vicinity. If you like pub grub, try the 3 Kings. Good food and excellent beer selection.

What a great Hotel!

This was probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at for the price. It was very well appointed, clean, updated, friendly staff, and great food from the resturant on-site. I even used the gym (which I rarely do) and it was all new and working properly. I would recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near the center of it all but not quite DT.

Surrounded by good food and entertainment

The staff was very courteous and professional. The valet service was A+ also. Bar and restaurant has excellent food and drink and a cool art deco vibe. There is a bowling alley less than a minute down the way and a entertainment venue also right next door. I think its in a great location right in the St Louis loop. Would definitely stay there again.

Moonrise Hotel rocks.

This is a great boutique hotel in one of St. Louis' most eclectic neighborhoods. Lots of great restaurants and bars in close proximity, and right next door to The Pageant theater. The hotel is nearly brand new, so everything is clean and contemporary. Has a great "vibe" like a "W" or "Hard Rock" hotel.

Love the Moonrise!

Love the Moonrise Hotel in The Loop District of St Louis. Just a few steps from The Pageant, one of St Louis's best music venues, and just a short walk to Blueberry Hill. Love the European styling and eclectic feel of this intimate hotel built in 2009. The beds are SO comfortable. Be sure to enjoy the rooftop lounge in the summer.
