Great Hotel!!!!!
I went to St Louis for a mini vaction with a friend. Went for a show at the Pageant and the Moonrise Hotel was fantastic! It was right next to the venue and really nice. It is also in a fun area with lots of food choices and boutique shopping. I can't say enough about the staff. Every single person I encounted was EXTREMELY nice and friendly. I really felt like they were going out of their way to make things enjoyable for the guests. I travel often and haven't had service like that very often. I highly recommend you stay there if you are in St Louis.

Great stay
We stayed at the Moonrise Hotel to be near a concert we were attending just a few doors down. Everything about out stay was perfect. The hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The location was great. We were able to park in the hotel lot and not worry about concert traffic afterwards. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've had at a hotel. The next time we want a getaway or go to another concert there, we will definitely choose Moonrise.

Moonrise Hotel Service Shines
The hotel had some really cool decorative features and the rooms were very nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. The lobby staff was fabulous! The downside was the restaurant - palatable, but uninspired and the staff couldn't have looked more bored. I expected more of a unique upbeat experience based on how the hotel advertises itself. Lots of restaurants nearby so not that big a deal, but nice to have good dining close by.

Short drive from hotel
There was a grocery store called Schucks nearby that had a great bakery, produce and deli section - great for in-room meals or picnic stuff.

Great Location
The hotel was great it was the perfect location for our short trip and was right next to the venue. However, we booked a smoking room and the hotel is a smoke-free environment this was an unexpected surprize. Another unfortunate surprize we encountered was the fact we booked a double queen bed room (in June might I add) and the hotel gave us a king bed room. This would have been fine with the exception of we did not intend on sleeping together. The hotel informed us because we booked through [...] we get what we get. We made due but were not happy. Everything else was great.

Moonrise Hotel rocks.
This is a great boutique hotel in one of St. Louis' most eclectic neighborhoods. Lots of great restaurants and bars in close proximity, and right next door to The Pageant theater. The hotel is nearly brand new, so everything is clean and contemporary. Has a great "vibe" like a "W" or "Hard Rock" hotel.

what a unique hotel and way better
I was traveling with a friend and enjoyed the safe location for a little shopping, and relaxing. I enjoyed the roof top bar under the stars and not having to drive after a couple drinks. This hotel isn't quirky like you might think. It has many wonderful surprises and they really go beyond to care for you.
