Great experience

The reason for our stay in St. Louis is to see a concert. The venue was next to the hotel. Great location. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The only thing that was missing was a swimming pool. But overall my family and I had a great time!!

Best Hotel Stay I Have Ever Had!

Walking in the staff are friendly and personable. They are polite and really did want us to have the best stay possible. The rooms were amazing. Very clean the bathroom was the nicest I have ever seen in a regular room. I wish I could have taken the shower with me. The rooftop bar was perfect for watching the fourth of July fireworks. There are bars and restaurants close and a lot of little shops. I wish I could have moved in!

Great place on St. Louis's best street

This was our second stay (our first was our engagement) and we had a wonderful experience both times. Friendly staff, comfy rooms, fun vibe, and access to some if the best food, shopping, and entertainment in the city!

Funky independent hotel

The Moonrise way exceeded my expectations. The rooms were well-appointed with robes, a great shower, little sewing kits, and the usual shampoo etc. (though there was no bottled water in the room). The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of electric outlets. The room decor sticks with the moon theme of the whole hotel. The staff was wonderful, including the staff in the restaurant and the 8th floor rooftop bar. The location is great too -- plenty of places to walk to. I will absolute stay here again the next time work (or fun) brings me back to St. Louis.

Chic boutique hotel in the middle of it all!

We were thrilled with our choice of hotel in STL. The Moonrise Hotel was in a great location- minutes from Wash U, Forest Park, the Delmar Loop, and just a short drive to anywhere else you would want to go. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (they even greeted us upon check-in with a cocktail), and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staying on the 6th floor, we didn't have any noise complaints from the upstairs bar. However, the noise from other guests in the hallway (the little that there was) traveled easily into our room. We had no issues with self parking, even on the holiday weekend. Although there is no complimentary breakfast (which would have been icing on the cake), there was a Keurig with regular, decaf, and tea cups each morning we were there. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in STL!

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Use the lot in the back to park if you don't want to shell out $17 a night to valet. There are also meters on the street (and 2 free spots in front of the hotel if you are lucky enough to snag one) if you want to leave your car for free overnight and fill the meter in the AM!

Short Stay

I showed up just before 2am. The restaurant and hotel staff answered all questions and were very friendly. I had room service delivered at 2 am and the restaurant informed me they are available for room service 24/7. I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the bars/rooftop. Thank you to all the staff.
