The Seven Gables Inn St. Louis is a unique boutique hotel with bed and breakfast charm nestled in the heart of Clayton among office buildings, shops, art galleries, and the areas finest restaurants. Clayton is home to more than 80 Forbes and Fortune 500 headquarters and branch offices. This bustling business center is located just 15 minutes from Lambert airport and ten minutes from downtown St. Louis. More than a place to stay, each of the 32 fully furnished guestrooms and suites present a sumptuous retreat with European bedding and luxury amenities. At the Inn, soothing colors and traditional fabrics complement rich wood paneling, handsome antiques and comfortable furnishings. Dynamic workspace and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access in all 32 individually appointed guestrooms. The Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and exudes a sophisticated, gracious, European charm throughout the hotel and the Garden Court.

Inn tucked into urban landscape

Easy parking, walk to restaurants, lovely setting, room was small, as you would expect in the city, but very full of the proper amenities. They even had central air + window unit to make sure you had enough air. Walk to the Ruth Chris Steak house. Drove a couple of blocks to the St. Louis Galleria and helped the economy.

Very pleasant

I did not eat in the hotel as I was visiting friends but the room, although not large was updated and clean and the bed and pillows wonderfully comfortable. Pillows are very important to me and they were the best. The location was right downtown in my friends area so was most convenient. Staff were most pleasant.
