Would never stay again

This hotel charges for anything they possibly can. We were even charged for a st Louis newspaper that we did not ask to have delivered to our rOom. When booking this hotel, we were not given any information about having to pay for parking. We found out when checking in that we would be charged $18 a day to park in the hotels garage right across the street. The bed was very uncomfortable along with the pillows. We were told we would have a view of the arch. Instead we had a view of the parking garage and highways.

Great View, but

Big Positive: Awesome Window View - Looking across street at St. Louis Gateway Arch Room too small for the price. Tub drain extremely slow, at end of 4 minute shower, standing in a foot of water. Shower leaked. 3 different Restaurant employees, gave us 3 different starting times of the buffet dinner. We were getting tired of walking down their 3 different times to the basement restaurant before the meal actually started.

Meet Me in St Louie

Just a couple of things that really needed improved, they were understaffed at the front desk the wait time was way too long. The parking was $18 a day which would have been OK, BUT no in & out privileges! You need to be able to take your car in & out of the garage for that price. The only problem with the room was when we shut the door the shower curtain fell into the tub! But when I reported it when we left the room, when we returned it was fixed "good service" And when did they stop putting mini fridges in the room, I think that is more of a necessity than a blow-dryer that everyone already packs anyway! The food at the restaurant was good and the view was GREAT!

Worst hotel experience

This had to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. We booked a room for two beds 6 weeks earlier, upon arrival we called them to let them know we where coming in late. We arrived about 11pm after working and driving all day. We didn’t get into a room until 3:30 am due to “over booking” they offered to put us in a reception room with no bed, then offered a sister resort, but after calling them they didn’t have any rooms either. Staff was not prepared and they said that the rooms where dirty and that was the hold up. Why are room still dirty after midnight and why does it take 3 hours to clean one? After 3:30am when they finally got us in the room it was not very clean. It was very small, the carpet was gross and the sheets had some hairs on them (not ours). After this experience I will never stay here again. As for the rest of the stay location was great for a game, and the Arch.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY

I am not a very picky person when it comes to hotel rooms. I am just there to sleep and shower, typically. This place was GROSS! The bathroom had "hairs" all over it, I was afraid to sleep on the bed, or walk on the carpet, due to the filth in the bathroom. My husband and I even went to a convience store and paid $6.00 for a travel sized can of Lysol (the only disinfectant they had), to spray down the room. Pictures on their website look nice, but do NOT be fooled this place is SO DIRTY!!!!!!

Little disappointed

Great location for the baseball and football games and downtown! Only a few problems: The bathroom was small, our toilet was leaking even after maintenance came and "fixed" it. The shower was dirty. Overall, ok.
