Entertaining site, well managed.

Staff were all patient, friendly, thoughtful and helpful, if they didn't know the answer to a query they found someone who could answer it. Views of the arch from the inner ----- arch facing ----- rooms were fun, rooms were comfortably appointed. Only two cavils: Cleaning was just ok... More of a tidy and replacement of soaps and towels than a cleaning. Hair and dust had not been removed from the floor corners. Charging a seperate fee for wifi/ and Internet access in the hotel rooms (5.00 an hour or 15.00 a day) ) offends me. There wasn't much of Amy where to use a computer in the lobby even if one were contented to do this there.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you want to eat at Pappy's make sure you book in advance: they cook until they have exhausted their supply of meat each evening and then have to turn away customers. Forest Park Museums stay open until 9 pm.

tiny rooms

Rooms are tiny. Good for one night if your not spending much time in room. Would not recommend for a multi night stay or for a family

NCAA Tournament weekend

The hotel was very crowded for the NCAA Tournament. There was also a haunted house convention. The hotel staff was still very available and friendly. The elevators are separated very efficiently so there were rarely lines even with the crowds with similar itineraries. It was the Jayhawks team hotel. Great dinner at Ruth's Chris in the hotel lobby. Even better view of the Arch. Great stay

Work trip

Fantastic hotel and amenities. However, paying over $9 a night for WiFi is not cool.

Getaway

It was my first time staying at this hotel, I live in St Louis, this was my getaway I really enjoyed the room, Finn at the front desk was very plesant and offered to change my double bed room to a king size, the view was spectacular I could see the Arch and the riverfront. I will continue to book at this hotel when I feel like getting away from it all.

Didn't sleep well

Only two stars because of other guests. Hotel and staff were great, everything else perfect. The hotel security did not seem to do anything much about it, knocked on their door once. But it could happen at any hotel.
