VALENTINES GETAWAY

ARRIVED AT HOTEL EARLY AND THEY LET ME CHECK IN. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND TOOK TIME AT EACH MOMENT TO ASK IF THERE WAS ANYTHING MORE THAT THEY COULD DO. THE VIP MANAGER KEITH KEY WAS A GODSEND. HE WAS A NICE A PERSON AS YOU WILL MEET IN THE INDUSTRY, HE WAS ATTENTIVE, HELPFULL IN EVERY WAY, HE AND HIS STAFF MADE MY GETAWAY MEMORABLE AND I WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

Cardinal Winter Warm-Up....

location is excellent for downtown activities. Staff was A+. Breakfast buffet for 3 adult = $65....not ANYWHERE worth that (includes tip). And I deplore having to pay for wifi service on top of my daily room rate ! BUT location is excellent - view of Arch is A++.....I'd stay again.

Close, but no cigar

Typical hotel designed in the 80's. Showy public areas, small rooms. Check in service good; asked for and was given a high floor. Room had great view of Arch but experience marred by roar from the freeway below. Asked for room change and was told"you are on the quiet side". Room was comfortable. However, it was evident that they had been unable to completely eliminate the remnants of cigarette smoke. Parking cost an additional $20-don't be fooled by low internet prices on this place, there are hidden costs.

Business Bungalow

Pros - Clean. Well-staffed. Convenient. Cons - Rooms are tiny. Close one door to open another. Feels very cramped, especially for the price.

Parking concession is a ripoff. Won't stay there again

The hotel and the staff were great. BUT, self serve parking in the hotel is minimal. In addition, on Saturday night, after pulling up to the gate, the ticket machine said "No tickets available". Cars were behind me so I couldn't back out. Pushing the button on the ticket machine to talk to a person led to 10 minutes of waiting, repeated pushing the buttons to talk, being transferred from the operator to the parking garage, being cut off, pushing the button more times and finally getting an attendant to come and tell me there were no spots left, only valet parking. I decided to use valet parking rather than hunt for a street slot blocks away. No valet attendants were present. Suddenly many valets appeared from a separate room as though they had been watching tv all this time - more like 20 minutes by now. The car was parked. Later I went to get something I had left in the car. The attendants gave me the key and told me where the car was. I got what I needed and saw many open self park slots where my car was parked. The parking concession took self park slots to increase the number of valet slots. Increases income and tips for them. Won't stay there again.

Great Stay

Booked a non-smoking king for $75 on a Saturday stay. Staff was very kind and professional and the room was ready at 1:00 pm for check in. Food was excellent at the sports bar located in house! I will definitely stay again.
