Decent

Beautiful interior and extremely convenient if you intend to gamble or dine at the casino. Staff is very average if not below, and not overly accommodating. After several stays, no one has ever gone out of their way or been overly polite to me. However, the rooms are very nice and spacious, and the location to the Landing is great. Very decent hotel.

Anniversay Weekend

Unfortunately, expected a lot more for paying nearly $200/night. Bathroom very small and without enough light. Shower curtain had mold on it. Floor of shower spongy. Tile in bathroom cracked at edges with mold around tub. No room in refrigerator for our own food/beverages. TVs dated and without HD. Stayed at numerous other hotels in St. Louis, and this was the most disappointing. We were staying here to go to casino, so that was an unbeatable location, but everything else was lacking. Will likely fork out a bit more to stay at the Four Seasons next time, which is also connected to the casino.

Almost Perfect

The location was perfect for our venue, we could easily walk to everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful...couldn't have asked for better. The hotel is in the process of cleaning the hallway carpeting...Once that is complete it will be a perfect place for us to stay when we comeback to St. Louis.

Sweet honeymoon

We got to the hotel and our room stank. When we asked if we could switch rooms, they upgraded us to a suite for free. The staff was wonderful. Hotel was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Atttached to Casino Luminare...

If you want a reasonable priced place to stay while going to the Casino during the week, cool. Otherwise the Landings Area nightlife is dead and unsafe. I have been staying at this hotel on and off for 8 years. Its a shame to see the area fall apart. It used to be great fun in the evenings. Weekends there usually end up with a hotel full of rowdy drunks. I have seen fights, bottles thrown from levels, etc. Their security staff do as well as they can. If you do stay here be sure to hit Al's Steak House 2 blocks away.

We Really Enjoy This Hotel

The Lumiere is wonderfully located, connected to a fun casino, adjacent to Laclede's Landing. Between the casino and Laclede's Landing, there are lots of great places to eat. The suites are neat and the bus service to the ballpark is a big plus. Very good value. This was our second stay at this hotel and we will surely visit again.
