Crowne Plaza ST. LOUIS - DOWNTOWN

5 minute walk to the Arch and 10-15 minute walk to the baseball stadium. Also Lacledes Landing is a 15 minute walk. Area with lots of restaurants/bars. Good location. Hotel bar in lobby. Hotel staff very helpful. There is a pool on the roof but small.

We've stayed in St. Louis many times, but this was probably the best overall visit from an accomodations stand point. You got the value of staying outside the downtown area, but you were downtown. Hotel was clean, up to date rooms and great bar in the lobby. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms were nice. We didn't have to drive anywhere that weekend as we were within walking distance of Busch Stadium (also close to Edward Jones Dome), and for trips to Union Station we just walked a few blocks to the Metro Link. It was also within a short walk to the Arch and Lacledes Landing. The only downsides were: no wireless (at least free) internet, pool was small and crowded, and there was a 10 dollar a day parking fee. All in all though I wouldn't have traded any of those for an increase in price, and you could get internet access for a fee if needed. This will definitely be our new hotel of choice in the St. Louis area!!!!

Our room was wonderful!! We had a king bed that was pretty comfortable and the sheets were nice. The view is what made the room though. Ask for a balcony. We had a great view of the arch and it was beautiful. The room was clean and very large. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Crown Plaza is located just minutes from the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium and the Casino. Rooms were spacious and the beds were great.

The Crowne Plaza downtown St. Louis was the perfect hotel for a getaway. I had one day conference in STL and wanted to stay downtown for a change of scenery. The hotel was fantastic! It's located right next to the STL Arch and I had a bird's eye view of the Cardinal's Stadium from my balcony. The bed was very plush and the bathroom was spacious and clean. We even had a small kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave in our room which was very convenient. The room was very spacious and we had also had a couch and desk in the room. Excellent staff! There was also free parking - which was nice especially being downtown.

The Downtown Crowne Plaza St Louis, MO was very comfortable, the room was very large with a desk area two chairs, plus a sleeper sofa and two beds. We had a kitchenette and a full size closet. They did not have suitcase stands, and there was three adults. I think we had the best view of anyone on the 27th floor we never shut our drapes as the view of the Arch and the river was second to none. We also could see the Jefferson Courthouse and the baseball stadium. We had some inconivences from the restaurant because it was small and only open three different times a day, which made for unhappiness but other restaurants were just down the road, which caused us not to go back to eat there after the first day. It was disappointing that the swimming pool was closed.

It was a very friendly hotel. The staff was amazing in every respect. They answered all and any questions we had and recommended areas in and around the hotel. They really gave the hotel a friendly vibe.

While the Crown Plaza was well located for our needs, we found the check in time took much to long the staff doing the check in was very slow. This process took three quarters of an hour. The room was nice size and adequate space for hanging clothes although there was not any suitcase stands. The desk chair was soilded and very dirty and had blood on the arm of the chair. The bathroom was very small and very little space to put toiletries, there were two drinking glasses on the bathroom sink and one of the glasses was used and dirty. The toilet seat was very loose and was falling off. When I checked out and told them, they didn't seem like they cared.
