Motel 6 St Louis St Charles

Room not bad for price, clea and everything seemed to work

Check in easy but office closed at 5 i think so had to use window. Had to change rooms because toilet ran constantly . Room clean. Bathroom ok. Bed clean. Lights all worked.

This was a clean, reasonably-priced room with many places to eat nearby. It is at a good location from which to access all St. Louis and out-lying attractions fairly easily. The only thing that would have made it better is if a remote for the TV would have been provided. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel was close to the activities I had planned. It was great that it was pet friendly with a place to walk the dog.

Hotel was in a good location for our sightseeing needs, with a good price(for a budget concerned person)friendly counter staff. Room clean. could have used better pillows. Saw Old Town St. Charles, and The St. Louis Arch. Haven't traveled in a long time, and this was a great trip !!

For a Motel 6 it was not as bad as many I have seen. The rooms were clean and it had an outdoor pool. The pool was pretty dirty though but it was nice on a very hot day.

My older daughter and I booked this motel due to last minute changes in our travel plans while visiting our St. Louis family. Our room and shower smelled of stale cigarette smoke, 1/2 eaten pizza was found in a corner of the room, a large black spider walked across my daughter's bed when the sheets were pulled down. YUCK!!! Blankets on both beds had many cigarette burns in them, multiple black hairs were found dried on the shower walls, and the toilet had stains which could have easily been removed with Clorox. The pool was filled with water but plastic pool furniture had been thrown in so noone could swim...I think you get the drift... I realize that this is a discount motel chain, but if you're not in the business to satisfy customers, what is the point? We were VERY dissatisfied and would like our money back. Any ideas?

Good for what it was, although was disgusted by cigarette butt I found floating in the toilet of my supposedly non-smoking room upon arrival

I work 16 hrs at a local hospital but live out of town. I need a place to sleep for 5 1/2 hrs for two days. Staff were unfriendly and dirty. I went to get in my room the first morning after working sixteen hours and my key wouldnt unlock my door. I drove up to the office to let them know I could not get in my room and all she did was give me another key without even saying sorry. I then drove back to my room and again my key didnt work so again I drove back to the office where she acted like I was stupid and she didnt really have time for me. She really didnt want to help me but after ten mins. she came to my room (where I was waiting outside in the rain) it took her 20mins to get me into my room. She then told me they would fix it after I went to work at one oclock that day. However after working my sixteen hrs and driving back to the motel I again could not get into my room. I drove up to the office and ask her if they had fixed the door to my room and she told me they had been working them like dogs and they were tired and there legs hurt and [...] got off at four that day and it was a holiday. I said yea well Im really sorry about all. I told her that I went to work at one so [...] had from one til four to fix my door. Finally she asked me if I would like a new room and I said that would be fine if I had my stuff out of the old room. She was very hateful and stated "fine." She said you will have to wait to get into your room because [...] is asleep. I said well go wake him up. Long story short [...] came and got me into my room without saying a word to me. He gave me dirty looks the whole time he was trying to get me into my room. This took in all about 1hr. I then checked out right away and drove home without any sleep for the last sixteen hours. I will never give this motel my bussiness again not only is it poorly ran but it cost me $90.00 amd some change to stay there for 4 1/2 two days and be treated badly. Wow what a racket.
