NOT WHAT WE ORDERED.
HAD REQUESTED A HANDICAPPED ROOM. THEY HAD THE RESERVATION BUT NO HANDICAPPED ROOM AVAILABLE. CLERK, A NICE AND FRIENDLY YOUNG MAN TOLD US THAT THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE HANDICAPPED FOR YOU ADVISED US TO BOOK THROUGH THEIR BRAND ON LINE AND THAT THE PRICES WOULD BE CHEAPER AS WELL.......

Minor league baseball facility just behind the hotel. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful Facility.. not so great staff
The hotel is in an older part of town. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed the pool. The staff on the other hand was not good. We reported a car with it's lights on when we got there and they didn't even seem to care. Additionally, when we received our bill the following morning and the price was wrong I talked to the front desk and they said that they don't offer discounts when I had the receipt from orbitz showing my 15% discount. They said they would call me back and I am still waiting on their reply 3 days later. Breakfast was lacking as well. 3 bananas at 6am and only a handful of yogurts. I travel often for business and this HI Express was not up to the normal standards on staff and continental breakfast.

What a surprise!
I travel a bunch and this is one of the nicest chain hotels I've ever stayed in. The place looks brand new. It's designed in a mission-style or prairie style, down to the placards on the elevators. Very classy looking. I tell you, it makes a big difference when you're on a business trip to feel like you're in a high end hotel. The biz center was open 24 hours so I could continue working all night. Complementary cookies and coffee in the lobby and a free cont breakfast in the morning. Free wi-fi. Not sure what else you need!

The sign is very small when you pull onto St. Louis avenue. I missed it on the first pass.

Nice Place
Holiday Inn near the ballpark - I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. Location was great because I could see the game from my room. Comfortable beds and great bathroom. I would recommend staying here...
