Days Inn and Suites Springfield on I-44

I paid $69.75 a night and reserved the room for two nights. The sign in front of the motel says $44.95 a night. I asked the clerk for the $44.95 rate. The clerk who can not speak English very well said that the rate was only for truck drivers. I told her that I have a CDL license. She say sorry but I can not use that rate. The only soap in the room was the smallest I have ever seen and only one bar. The wash cloth was also very small and very thin. Other that that the motel was equal to a "MOTEL 6" or the cheapest motel a person can find.

It was just ok for me. I had requested a non-smoking room online but got a smoking room instead. It smelled horrible and was in the pillows and sheets as well. If they are going to give a non-smoker a smoking room air the room out better. The bathroom was super small as well and had hardly any toilet paper. I would probably not stay there again.

This is NOT a three star hotel, two or less. Room was small for the amount we paid.

This is a slightly below average motel 8 room. Barely enough room for the beds in the room. Hot water took over 15 minutes to reach the shower. There is a placard in the room with a price list of items in the room (eg: $20 for a bath towel, $80 for sheets, etc). They want to let you know how much you will be charged if you steal them! The towels were tattered. We listened through the paper thin, deadbolt-less door to the sound of emergency vehicles wizzing by all night. I'd suspect this was a nice hotel about 35-40 years ago, which is the last time it was updated. Do not stay here.

Been here before a couple of years ago, and can see Waffle House next door to them, from the highway, so easy to find. Was comfortable. TV has no listing of which channels were under what number, so only found and watched channel for CBS. Rooms were clean. Restaurants were within a few mile south of the motel.

This hotel was the worst ever. The room was cramped, the bed felt like bricks, there was hair all over in the bathroom, there was barely enough room to turn around between the bathroom and the sink outside of it. And to top it all off they tried to charge me an extra $40.73 when I checked in. I found that out after I returned home and checked my bank account. I called them and asked about the charge and they said they accidentally punched that in. Do not stay at this hotel!!

The room was...okay, it was cheap. It didn't cost much, but you get what you pay for, right? Good price, good access (which came with another sort of price - see below)...and torn towels, light blue walls, and icky carpeting. The beds were comfortable enough, and linens were clean. Also, the staff neglected to mention that the breakfast was NOT IN or even near the lobby, but upstairs in a couple of converted rooms. Just as well - the Waffle House right next door was a better deal. I happened to stay there the same weekend that the monster truck show was in town, so most of the parking spaces were filled with them. Between that and the proximity to the highway...Does that tell you how loud the place was on Friday night?

The Office was excellent. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good. Breakfast worker was very nice.
