Pet-friendly Springfield hotel with free Internet and breakfast

The hotel manager will cook you the most wonderful waffles and he is a super friendly guy.

Not the safest locaton
Although the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, I would not reccomend this location to a single traveller or family with small children as the location is not the best; hidden off the main road (Battlefield Rd. Also, there is no elevtator just FYI.

Good location and good value
My husband and I visited Wilson Creek Battlefield on our trip to Springfield. The hotel worked out just fine. The staff and owner were very nice and helpful. The only thing lacking was at breakfest, there was no fresh fruit or not even a hard boiled egg.

Doggies n' Cops
The room was fine, the A/C didn't make too much noise. There were a good bit of pets there, but didn't bother me, except for wondering about cleanliness. Lotsa options for eating in walking distance. Its right behind a high end "Gucci" grocery store. A Crime-concious night desk employee fingered me as resembling an escaped convict,so I was awakened at 2a.m. for an ID check by police. Wrong man, though. Great location in a low-crime area of Springfield. Nobody knows it's there. Short distance to the mall and main shopping drags. That town has more stores and shops and chain restaurants than you can count!
